Great… just not for lotls
Love this for my aquarium, though… I would not recommend for a lotl tank. It has some sharp spots on the inside and I worry it would cut their soft skin. I do have this in a pea puffer/african dwarf frog/pleco tank and its perfect for that!

Great hide
Our axolotl loves this hide, smooth edges so no worries about cuts on our guy!

Sticky inside
Bought for our juvenile axolotl. Did not use it because the inside coating felt sticky and we didn’t feel like it would be safe putting in the tank. Other than that, it looks good and it’s a good size but we returned it.

Totally cute for your Aquarium
I have a 5 year old axolotl and he loves these pet hides. We have a 20 gallon tank and they fit with plenty of room. He fits in them fine and it looks good in the aquarium. This is a good value for the money. Good product! Highly Recommend!

Inside too rough and not smoothed out
2 stars because packaging was good. But I ended up returning it. Inside was rough and not smoothed out. I was worried snail would get injured. Would have been perfect size though

Nice!
The Axolotl Hide and Nitrifying Ball Set is such a thoughtful addition to my aquarium. The driftwood-style hide looks natural and blends in beautifully with the tank setup, giving my axolotl a cozy spot to retreat. The filter balls are a nice bonus for maintaining a healthier environment. Everything feels well-made and safe for my aquatic pets.

Sharp edges
I ordered two of the hiding logs and both came with sharp edges inside the logs where the colitis would go. I corrected it by burying them partially in the sand to cover the rough spots.

An okay product…
Product is used for my 2 axolotls Phantom & Rev. Had to sand down the edges due to being overly sharp. Strong scent of chemicals as well upon opening.Otherwise, my babies seem to enjoy the cave. I also refuse to use the fake plants. Way too much of a chemical smell so I tossed those.
