Great Kitty Kibble
I have two 2-year old cats that have been on Orijen Guardian 8 since they transitioned from kitten food. I’ve purchased from Amazon multiple times in both size bags. Each time, the bag is in tact (not ripped, squished, damaged etc), the product is genuine and of expected quality, and we have never received an order late. The cost here is less expensive than in our local pet stores and on other websites, without there being any difference in the item. The only issue I have is that once you use the tear strip to open the bag, it does not re-seal. I have to fold over the top a few times, and slap a piece of tape to keep the bag closed. All of the bags are like this, no matter where you purchase it from. Unfortunately, its an oversight from the company and nothing to do with the seller. I am glad to have found Orijen on Amazon, and plan to continue ordering monthly.

Trustworthy cat food
Since my cats started this brand, we have had to see several different vets. Every one of them agreed it was a good brand to feed them. I like to keep their food grain free, and they prefer fish for their main protein, so this is the one for us. No allergies from it. Helps keep them healthy. I trust it for my fur babies. At first I baked at the price, but after much research I found this cat food to be a good value for my dollar. To keep it fresh and smelling good, I store the bulk of it in a cool, dark place. This food is hard enough to help stave of dental issues without being so hard to cause injury or issues in the mouth or digestive tract

Very good ingredients and our cats like it
Dang expensive, but this food has a great looking ingredient list AND all 3 of our cats will eat the same food! quite a feat. I should not say that they like it, I mean the way they like junk treats or junky cat food, but they will eat it properly when they get ready for a meal. We have been feeding this food for 1 to 2 months now with good results. The list of ingredients in this food does not resemble most other cat kibble so i will see how we do long term. We had one cat that had started vomitting almost all of the cheaper food she preferred but we swithched to the Orijen Senior because it was the best looking ingredients of anything in the pet food market that I saw. Its also the most expensive, but its still way less than a trip to the vet. We are on our third or 4th bag, and I can’t find these big bags locally.

Excellent cat food but leave out the beans
Both my cats like it it’s high-quality cat food. The only problem is there’s a lot of different beans. Cats don’t need beans.

Healthy food
Have had my cat on this food for years. She’s very active and in good health, no health problems and have never had an issue with this food other than I find it super dumb that the bags are not resealable. Unfortunately had to switch to a less protein forward senior cat food because of my cats age. But if you have a young and active cat definitely consider this food.

Good quality, but causes barfing
I have 3 cats, 2 males and 1 female. The boys love this food and tolerate it well. Their coats are soft and shiny, and good body composition.I stopped feeding Orijen dry food to my female cat because it made her vomit. Every time she ate this stuff she would barf. It didn’t matter the amount she ate or if we mixed it with water or wet food. She barfed every time.So, between the relatively high price and the barfing, we decided to switch to another brand.I still think it’s a good quality dry food for some cats, though.

Excellent
Picky cats dug right in. Excellent nutritional values and ingredients I want for my senior cats and for them to avoid developing diabetes. Both cats have limited number of teeth due to one being abused and the other being feral for most of her life before they were adopted and they don’t have any problems chewing the kibble pieces.

Cats live long and prosper.
I have never had a cat live past 17. I started feeding my cat now. This food and Daisy will be 22 years old in a couple of months. She’s going strong. A little weaker doesn’t play as much but she eats well and gets around goes up and downstairs. That should tell you something.
