I’ve tried a lot of dog foods and treats over the years, but Purina Moist & Meaty pouches are hands-down one of my dogs’ favorites. These are technically dog food, but I love how versatile they are. Sometimes I use them as a full meal, and other times I treat them like high-value snacks. The cost for the value is unmatched as I have spent plenty of time looking for low cost but reliable treats and this one always comes out on top.What really sets them apart is how perfectly they work inside puzzle toys. I use the Nina Ottosson treat-dispensing toy, and these soft little bits fit right in. The scent is strong enough to keep my dogs interested and sniffing, but not overwhelming for me. 4th highest ingredient is high fructose corn syrup!
I had been searching for some kind of soft dry dog food for my 20 year old small dog. He loves this food. I like it because it s easy to feed, smells fairly decent, agrees with his tummy, and is a reasonable price. The only thing I don’t like about is that high fructose corn syrup is the 4th highest ingredient on the label… if I’d known that beforehand I would not have purchased it.
