Perfect for My Nervous Cat!
I was honestly shocked at how well the Silent Groom Pro Pet Nail Grinder worked on my cat. She usually runs the second she hears any buzzing or clipping, but this grinder is so quiet — barely a hum (around 30–37 dB). She stayed calm the whole time, which has never happened before!The diamond wheel is really gentle but effective, and the protective guard gives me peace of mind so I don’t trim too far and hit the quick. It shapes her nails smoothly without any sharp edges, and I love that it feels completely safe.I also appreciate that they sell replacement heads, so it’s something I can use long-term. The instructions were simple — just fully charge it, use the low setting, and lightly grind each nail for a few seconds at about a 45° angle.If your cat hates nail trimming or gets anxious with loud tools, this is absolutely worth it. Not bad, but could be better
The motor is truly quiet. However, when grinding my dogs nails it is loud. It does what it claims, but doesn’t mean it was useful for my dogs. My dogs are medium to large dogs. The space for the nails to get to the grinding wheel is a bit too small for them. I don’t feel it grinds any better than other brands or is any more powerful. I was hoping for a faster grinding experience for my dogs. It’s better to cut their nails and use the devices to round the edges smooth. It works fine for small dogs and I want to try on my cats, so maybe it will be a treasure.

Quiet and safe👍🏻😍
I bought this electric dog nail file and it has been an excellent purchase. It is very easy to use, silent and does not scare my dog, which for me was the most important thing. File the nails gradually and safely, without the risk of cutting more as with the traditional nail clipper. The battery lasts a long time and the design is comfortable to handle. Since I use it, nail care at home is much easier and less stressful for both my pet and me. I totally recommend it!!!

Not time-effective for greyhound nails
I typically use a Dremel on my dog’s nails and was excited to try this as a quieter option. It certainly was quieter but for my dogs (greyhounds), the grinding just did not do the job. I would have needed to spend 30-60 seconds PER NAIL to get any reduction in length and my dogs just couldn’t stand for that. With the dremel, I probably spend about 5 sec per nail and make decent progress. This tool might be good for smaller dogs but for my guys with their tough nails, this just didn’t do the trick, unfortunately.

Best for smaller dogs
The silent groom pro has low noise and vibration. It’s cordless which is great and comes with a rechargeable usb cord. It has a durable bit grinder with an adjustable safety guard. Unfortunately my dog is about 70 pounds and her nail doesn’t fit with the guard, so I took off the guard. It has a buzzing noise which scares my dog, I was able to use it for 1 nail. I will try again. It’s fast to charge and has a long battery life.

Great for nervous dogs
The Henson nail grinder is superior to any other grinder I’ve had in the past. First off, the size is perfect and fits comfortably in my small hands and makes maneuvering it very easy. My dog hates the sound of any type of clippers whether its nails or hair. As soon as he hears it turn on he starts shaking and getting all nervous. This nail grinder is much quieter than I expected. He still doesn’t like it but he doesn’t start getting nervous until I get near him with it. He’s one that hates for you to touch his feet let alone do anything to his nails but he’s a tiny guy and doesn’t have much choice. With this tool I can get his nails filed down in just a few minutes even with him fighting me and the nails are blunt and more even and I don’t have to worry about cutting his quick. It was charged straight out of the box and comes with a charging cord when you need to recharge. This little grinder is the best one I’ve seen so far. It’s lightweight, small for easy handling, quiet and holds a charge. What more can you ask for?
