Makes my dog healthier.
This works very well on my dog. I break it up and put it in with her food because she does not seem to like the taste of them. When I give it to her she seems to shed way less.

POOR QUALITY AT 2X THE PRICE
I have been buying the prior formula of these Hip & Joint Chews (Synovi G4 Dog Joint Supplement Chews) for a few years, and up until now I have been pleased. My senior dog had almost immediate improvement in his mobility and the limping nearly disappeared. But they now have a “new and improved” formula of these joint chews… BUT THE IMPROVEMENT IS ONLY IN THE COMPANY’S BANK ACCOUNT.The chews are HALF the size of the old ones… not because they are more concentrated, but because they now direct you to give your pups TWICE AS MANY CHEWS. That means the bag of 240 chews that has a comparable cost to the old formula only lasts HALF AS LONG, costing the consumer DOUBLE!!! And that’s not even the biggest problem.I opened up the package, and OVER HALF THE CHEWS ARE BROKEN! Look at my photos, broken, misshapen, squashed, mutilated… pick your own word. But I don’t feel I can safely dose my dog because I cannot give a proper dose since I cannot put the 500+ piece puzzle back together to make 240 chews.Elanco (parent company), you used to be a reliable brand with a reliable product. But this poor rollout of your “new and improved” hip and joint chews do not make the cut! It makes me wonder if your other products are going to make it past your quality control department in similar sub-par shape. I will not be giving my dog this inferior product since it cannot even be dosed properly. You just lost a good customer!

Great product
This is a great product for my pet. We have an Sr. Silky terrier he was in a lot of pain when trying to get up. We started these in May. They took effect immediately. I take a pill, cut it in 4 portions and give him 1 portion each day.Not sure how well he would take if I didn’t put it in cream cheese. There isn’t much smell.He has had no diarrhea or any other side effects. I purchased the first package from the vet. They were less expensive from Amazon. I like the flat size because the are easy to cute into 4 smaller portions

Pet health
I have been using these for about 4 years per my vet for my Frenchies hips and joints. They love them and they seem to be working. I didn’t like it when they changed the packaging because the soft chews were much smaller, but my vet said it still had the same ingredients. I’m now up to 4 Frenchies ( all rescues ) so I will switch to auto ship.

Synovi rebrand/company change
Unfortunately when they rebranded the company also changed the size and amount you have to give to your pet. When I opened the bag a number of.the smaller pieces were broken so now you aren’t getting the correct dosage. Arrival with Amazon was fine so no issues there just an issue with the manufacturer and the changes they did after the rebrand/company change.
