Stop shopping around and get this one! PERFECT for my 80 pound Black Lab!
Wow is the first thing to come to mind. I should have bought this sooner, or maybe I was waiting for this exact model.It’s perfect. It really is SUPER quiet! It trimmed my dog’s nails down quickly, safely, and she didn’t mind it at all! She was already a good patient when it came time to clip her nails, but she never did like it, and neither did I. Because of that, I would procrastinate and wait until they really needed to be clipped.I had wrote off electric nail grinders because a friend of mine tried one many years ago and said it didn’t work for his large breed dog. My dog is large breed as well, so I’ve been clipping her nails the old school way her entire life. I saw some ads on fakebook about electric grinders, and thought I would give them another look. I’m so glad I did!My dog’s nails, (80 pound Black Lab), fit perfectly through the hole in the dust catcher. It worked surprisingly quickly on her nails, and they were overdue to be trimmed. I moved from nail to nail to keep too much heat from building up. The dust catcher worked pretty well. It does need to be emptied after 3 to 4 nails if they are long to start with. Now that it’s so much easier to keep maintained, I will use this much more often than I did with the clippers, and it will be even faster and create less dust each time that way.The lights are great, really helps me see what I’m doing. The speed adjustment and on/off switch are both really nice. This nail grinder feels like and functions like a very well built item. I’m kind of blown away, and I really wish I had bought one a long time ago.I looked at one available in a local store, and it isn’t one fourth the device this is in terms of quality and effectiveness. This is a must-have for all dog owners. GET IT!!!

Amazing nail filer for dog
I’ve avoided cutting my dogs nails when more than once I cut the quick and they bled and it was way too traumatic for me.This is actually really safe because of the auto stop. My dog doesn’t mind me doing her nails. She’ll sit still and she’s very patient and it works so well.The dust cap captures 95% of the dust.With practice I’m becoming a professional myself 😂. Easily to use. Quieter than my power drill for building furniture. Really good value for amount paid and the amount of dog nail trimming sessions by the spa or vet. The different speed settings are also great. I started on 2 and 3. I gotta build up my confidence before I do higher speeds. Hopefully it lasts for a long time.

Quiet. Not going to change your fearful dog into a dozing one, but good overall.
I do like how quiet it is. My one dog (not afraid to have her nails done), doesn’t mind it one little bit if I don’t spend too much time on her. My other two dogs, well, it will take some training for them to become “ok” with the process. I think it works fairly well, but you do have to use regularly or risk the nail being too long. It takes off like a human nail file would, so not super aggressive. I haven’t had to charge it yet (and have used it a few times). Battery life is good. I like variable speeds it offers.

The CASFUY Professional Pet Nail Grinder. Excellent quality, quiet and safe to use.
We have a large Golden Doodle and a Standard Poodle. We groom both dogs and for years have used a Dremel to shape their claws after cutting them down. The Dremel is loud and the shaving drum is exposed. After two uses with the CASFUY Pet Nail Grinder our job became not only easier and more efficient but, the dogs were calm and much safer. The light is a bonus and actually lights the work area. My dogs no longer fear the noise of the tool. I would highly recommend this Pet Nail Grinder to any pet owner doing their own grooming.

It is quieter and just as effective as a Dremel file.
I am loving this versus the regular Dremel file. I have used a Dremel file on my dogs for the last 20 years, its all I have ever used. Until we got this rescue german shepherd dog. She is very timid about everything. So I took the advice of one reviewer and I am doing the one nail at a time, in order to get her use to it. However, my other german shepherd is doing amazing with this. I really never thought about how the noise was affecting them. But this is definitely quieter and just as good as the Dremel file. I do not use the dust cover or the black shield. I find it quicker to do without them and don’t have to worry about their nails getting stuck in between them. I just use my own fingers as the protection against any nicks. I highly recommend this product.

Fantastic! Worth every penny! Quiet!A 6 speed unit is a must for large dogs. The speed I needed was the fastest. I purchased a 2 speed unit and returned because it did not make a dent in my dogs nails. Charlie, who usually needed a muzzle and someone holding him down when I clipped his nails, allowed me to work on him for 20 minutes by myself with little complaint.Now, Let me explain the 20 minutes.The day it came in the mail, I used for only one minute on one nail. Rewarded him, and then did two minutes the next day. The third day I went for 20 minutes to finish all paws because his nails were so long and strong. Now his nails are back to perfect and he has comfort when walking.This product changed our lives for the better!!!

Better than some, could use improvement
Positives: This grinder seems to work faster than the sandpaper bits I had in my dremmel. I like the lights because it makes it much easier to see the quick and avoid it. It charges fast by USB.Negatives: It is not quiet and my dog was just as stressed as with previous nail cutting/grinding. The dust cap obscures the nail, so while it is a great idea, it doesn’t work.

Endlich eine gute Alternative für die extrem dicken Krallen von meiner Schäferhündin – mit speziellen starken Krallenzangen hatte ich bislang keine Chance , ihre Krallen auf das richtige Maß zu kürzen , da es ihr unangenehm war und wohl auch weh tat und auch meine wesentlich kleinere Labbi Mix Seniorin mit ihren fast transparenten u dünnen Krallen mag die Zange nicht. Beim Schäfi muss ich mit dem Schleifer direkt mit Stufe ansetzen und die Feinarbeit auf Stufe 3 – etwas mehr Power für Cheyennes Krallen könnte der Schleifer jedoch schon haben aber mit etwas Übung habe ich jetzt den Dreh raus , wie ich am effizientesten u für den Hund am schonendsten damit arbeiten muss. Anfangs traut man sich ja eh noch nicht so richtig aber bereits beim 2. x hatte ich die für mich u Cheyenne beste Halteposition raus 😊 Meine Seniorin Daisy ist extrem kitzelig an den Hinterpfoten – hier muss ich aufpassen , dass ich ihr nicht versehentlich wehtue , wenn sie abrupt die Pfote wegzieht aber da hilft dann mein Mann kurz aus und hält sie fest. Anfangs erschrickt der Laie wahrscheinlich , da es etwas unangenehm riecht , nach verbranntem Horn . Ich kenne den Geruch zum Glück , wenn der Hufschmied unsere Pferde damals beschlagen hat. Durchs schleifen entsteht Reibung – Hitze und das stinkt dann etwas ^^ In dem Moment setze ich kurz ab , da sonst versehentlich die Hundeschnute mit geschliffen werden könnte , da Madame natürlich neugierig istMein Fazit : Gutes Preis – Leistungsverhältnis , der Krallenschleifer macht , was er soll aber könnte , wie oben bereits angemerkt , einen Tick mehr Power haben ^^ Bin gespannt , wie lange der Schleifkopf hält aber die Krallen sind ja nicht jedesmal so lang , wie sie es jetzt waren

I usually take my dog to a pet store and Chris would grind her nails at the same time every two weeks. We live 25 minutes away and a round trip takes over an hour (including the visit, since he would often make me wait), so consistency is important to me. Lately, Chris has been moving the date and time around, and I felt like I was being treated as a nuisance instead of a customer. I was also paying $23 per session.I finally got fed up and decided to do it myself. After looking at a number of grinders on Amazon, this seemed to be the best bet because of its diamond head and 6 speeds. I used it today for the first time, and things worked out really well. Shadow and I are very close, and she is super intelligent and very obedient with me. She didn’t put up a fuss. It really helped that this grinder was so quiet and efficient. We were done in about 10 minutes. I’m very happy that I chose this grinder for its diamond head, quiet operation, and light weight. No more long trips and groomer fees. Including the cost of gas, 2/3 of the cost of this grinder was paid back by avoiding one trip to the groomer. The recovery of my time was also valuable to me.This tool is simple and easy to use, and will only need to be charged occasionally. Bonus! It also feels good to be able to take care of my best friend myself, with a device that works like a groomer would use. If you have any hesitations, watch a youtube video of positioning and holding your dogs paws.

Ich benutze den Casfuy 6‑Gang‑Nagelschleifer für meine Katzen und bin wirklich positiv überrascht. Das Gerät ist sehr leise – meine beiden Katzen bleiben ganz entspannt, selbst wenn es läuft, was bei anderen Geräten nie der Fall war. Der Sicherheitsaufsatz ist super, man kann die Krallen damit sicher kürzen, ohne Angst zu haben, zu weit zu schleifen.Die Verarbeitung ist gut, der Schleifer liegt angenehm in der Hand und lässt sich leicht bedienen. Der Akku hält ordentlich lange, und das Aufladen über USB funktioniert problemlos. Ich war anfangs skeptisch, ob so ein Nagelschleifer bei Katzen funktioniert, aber jetzt möchte ich ihn nicht mehr missen. Klare Empfehlung!

I am so far very happy for this. I can’t use clippers with my hand arthritis. I had to stop clipping my Dogue de Bordeaux’s nails. Our English Bulldog, needed her nails done and I thought I might as well give this a try. She lays on my chest and I do each nail while we watch tv. I put the setting on 2. You don’t want to leave it very long on the nail because it gets hot (which is straight across the board for all trimmers/dremels. A couple seconds on each nail, a few times keeps the nails manageable. It’s perfect for big or small dogs. I know my Dogue de Bordeaux would have loved this as well.
