know your cat before buying
Seems like a great idea, and for most cats it probably is. However, my cat sniffed at it, half heartedly batted at it, and then it lay there, gathering dust. He was totally uninterested. So all I can say, is know your kitty and its quirks (ours is a lazy ass) before you buy it. I thought I could change my “leopard’s” spots, but should have realized that the saying “a leopard will not change its spots” is absolutely true! 🙂

One out two cats love this, the other says, “not bad”
I have two little mate brothers with different personalities. One is smart, aloof, loves high places, and behaves. The other is not so smart, affectionate, and dumps his water fountain to the point I had to replace it with heavy ceramic dishes in a bamboo frame. I got this toy to keep him busy and break his obsession with pooling water. It did keep him busy between his water dumping and he still loves it. I put about a quarter cup of kibble in it in the morning and turn the chirping off at night. Haven’t stepped on it yet. My other cat is the smart one and prefers the puzzle box I got them. Some things work for some cats but nothing works for every cat.

This has helped our cat to problem solve for those treats inside. There are two holes to get the treats out. They roll it around and play then the treat or cat food comes out. Get exercise and portion control. The vet told me about these.

Good toy for a smart cat. Makes the cat work for a treat. Adjustable size opening for treat dispensing..it is very well made, knocked off counter to tile floor and did not break…Comes with a chirping sound that can be turned off…for cats, the smell of a cat treat is enough.Too small for medium or larger dogs…

A considerably less fun weeble wobble or a modern day torture device?
Boy, I’ve got some lazy cats. Bought this in the hopes that it would reward increased activity, but alas, the cats have figured out exactly how to roll it (once!) to release the treats. Unbeknownst to me, they’ve been binging treats like I’ve been binging Severance. To be fair, this blocky object isn’t the most “fun” toy so I can’t exactly blame them. Imagine batting around the equivalent of a bowling pin with a hole in it on the floor in the hopes that it will give you the tiniest morsel of food.If you’re worried about your cat’s weight, put them on a weight management kibble. Love tax, I know. But at least you can save your money on this product.

My cats love this. A very good enrichment tool. The sounds it makes are not too loud, and the different options for the treat openings are nice depending on what treats you use.
