These Do Not Stick to an Open Wound and Help With Healing
My hubby somehow managed to get a huge deep scrape on his lower arm at least 3″ by 3″. As part of his months of treatment I ordered these pads to cover the gaping wound and used a stretchy wrap to insure that it stayed in place since he is quite active for a 78 year old. I truly believe that these pads really helped with his healing and he has hardly any scar now. These pads not only did not stick to his wound, they absorbed the fluids that oozed, and yet did not disintegrate or leave any debris behind. A win all of the way around! I will be keeping these on hand now since he tends to be a little accident prone…

Affordable and healing
This product is helping me heal my legs and feet. The Drs call them leg ulcers and many things don’t help without sticking to the wound or causing the skin to break down. They are also affordable to those of us with limited resources. Thank you for this product.

It all depends on what you need. I have a recurring wound/ulcer on a two foot scar down my left hip and thigh. This handles the exudate very well. I put it underneath a 5×5 inch wound dressing.

This has not been available over the counter for some time. After cleaning and dressing the wound, this Silver Calcium Alginate is used to fight all types of infection. I have it in my emergency kits. This will only be used in cases of wounds too severe to treat, and continue our trip. No, this is for genuine emergencies where evacuation is necessary. I have found this dressing to be a prime infection fighter. You must prepare for even the most dire situation, and be ready to act. This is a start

Dealing with a diabetic ulcer on my toe for nearly 2 1/2 years now. I’ve gone to the podiatrist, was recieving weekly treatment until I could no longer afford it, and then started my own treatment at home… This particular bandage is felt like in texture (I meant to order foam type) but it has shown me more regrowth of tissue than I’ve seen in a LONG time!!!
