Budget friendly without lacking quality
To be honest I am afraid to do my dogs nails myself. And my work schedule makes it difficult to get him to a groomer. My son has three dogs himself and volunteered to do my dog as well. So based on reviews I purchased this set so we cld have a trimmer at my place and I let him take the rest w him. All four dogs are medium to large breeds. My son said they are very comfortable in the hand and easy to use. He had no problems safely trimming all of the dogs and they cut thru the nails with ease. He really liked this set better than the ones he previously used. We would say they are definitely worth the cost for anyone looking for a reliable set to take care of their pups easily and safely.

The best dog clipper kit ever
Do not hesitate, especially if you have two different size breeds of dogs or a dog and a cat. For those saying the clippers splintered, didn’t cut, or weren’t sharp enough: as with any type of dog nail clippers, if you do not hold them correctly, they will not cut correctly and can splinter your dog’s nails—common sense. The two large clippers went through my dog’s nails like butter; the smallest pair are so good I was able to cut my Chihuahua’s nails in under 5 minutes. Never before have I ever been able to get her nails done in under 5 minutes. The only thing it needs is a light. I stick my phone flashlight under her paw, and I was shocked at how well and fast I was able to cut her nails. Now, my Rottweiler Pitbull, on the other hand, does not like her nails being cut, but she tolerates it and allows me to do that. At first, I tried the bigger set, and I was like, “This is too big,” so I tried the second, and it was amazing how fast I was able to just clip, clip, clip. Again, the only thing missing is a light; the same thing with I just put my phone flashlight underneath her paw so I can gauge where the quick is to cut. I also bought some quick stop just in case. you never know when buying a new pair of clippers what’s going to happen, but I had no issues. It went incredibly fast. If and when these break, I will definitely be buying another kit. I mean, for the price, you basically get the nail clippers and the file. The nail file is also Amazing If there are any sharp edges, 2 seconds, done! I will now no longer be getting scratched from my dog’s nails. Absolutely amazing! Could not be happier. I do write reviews, and I’m honest in them, and these clippers are amazing—everything works as described. My new go-to product. Depending on how long they last, if they last up to 6 months, I’ll be happy and buy two of these a year.

Excellent Value!
I have only used this set a couple of times however it is already been more than worth the $12 I spent on this kit. Trimmers seem Sharp and well made, I had no issues with the quality, no accidental cuts and everything seems sharp and durable. Bonus that it even comes with its own carrying case and file. Is it the best set you could possibly buy, probably not, but for the everyday pet owner? Perfection!

Quality clippers, not flimsy like the real cheap plastic ones. Don’t know why you need so many things, just the file and clippers would be good, but it’s not that much more that the cheap ones and everything is quality. I like that it comes with a case too

Sharpness and durability.
These nail trimmers have been awesome. My dog has to be sedated to the fullest to get his nails cut.. It’s not cheap! but, due to his anxiety which will turn into aggression, I have to do it this way. However!..the humane society is backed up til October and he can’t wait til then. I was panicking and thinking about how much pain/discomfort he’d be in if, he’d even be able to walk. The last pair of trimmers I got from a place I shop regularly for everything i may need were… horrible! Very weak, cheap material, dull, etc..waste of money! This made my first attempt at cutting his nails myself, a huge failure. Here I was again though in a tight spot. Shopped on here and found these ones and took a Chance. I’ve been able to cut almost every single one of his nails without incident. Ya, I have to pick which one(s) to do based on his mood and position as well as best when he’s sleeping and I gotta b a nail ninja.. Lol. But, This product has made me more confident in cutting my dogs nails and has made my dog and his feet more comfortable. Thank u!

Wish there was a longer return window
Owned for six months, used probably about five times until the clipper dulled suddenly and my dog’s nail was caught as it wouldn’t clip. Traumatizing for dog and me. A note within said to contact this company via Amazon for any questions while using and there is no contact information.

They seem sharp and do the job. The case is great. Keeps everything together. These are handy if you have different size dogs. I hang the case with the leashes so I always know where they are.
