Cute and Escape Proof!
This has been a great harness for our chihuahua mix. She’s been able to slip out of a couple of different harnesses, but this one keeps her snug and is still comfortable. The color is really cute, too. It seems durable and well-made. We’ve had it while now, and it’s holding up great. I really appreciate how easy it is to put on her; some harnesses are really fussy, but this one definitely is not.

A nice harness for our puppy/dog.
I like this dog harness. We bought this one to replace the one our puppy was outgrowing and had started to chew on. It works well. I have no complaints. It seems comfortable for our dog. We did recently try doing puppy training and trying to walk without a harness and just the leash. But it’s easy to get on and it is a good thickness. The color was as expected. No issues with the buckle so far. Our puppy/dog is not a big dog, so it’s not like there’s a lot of pressure on it. It didn’t really stop him from wanting to pull. We’re happy to have the option if we need it again.

Great harness. I have a few dogs but was introduced to this harness after receiving a corgi to foster. It was suggested to help with her unusual body shape compared to my other dogs. I liked the escape feature that allows you to adjust the harness to the dog’s body.Not sure if this is uncomfortable for her as someone stated in another review about their dash hound pup that has similar body build. I don’t think she enjoys walking in general because she is elderly & arthritic.I have tried several harness over my years as a dog owner & find this is less bulky and more likely to prevent escaping with the clips to help adjust.I have small & bigger dogs, I now like using this harness on all my small dogs because it’s features. I like the neoprene update & think this might make it more soft, comfortable & also looks slick!

Lol if only my pom didnt move around so much. He destroyed his last harness and so we were hoping to get a harness that isn’t so close to his face. This was perfect! I love how well made it is. My only tiff is that although its design is for the chest, I notice it rides up to his neck and it makes me wonder if perhaps I got the wrong size or need to adjust something!… pomeranians are known to have very fragile necks and there were a few times he heaved because he was pulling. Not often.I was pleasantly surprised it looked as if he didnt have a harness on with all his fluff lol

Not escape free
The only reason I sized up was because he chewed through it while it was on him during the car ride. Luckily I noticed it or there’d be a runaway puppy. He did one side at first and it was still usable with caution, but he made sure it wasn’t at all before I could replace it. He “outgrew” his backup one which was also a gooby (diamond shaped step in). He’s an escape artist and this one is the only “least escape risk” I could find. He backs up a lot on walks because he protests a lot and it’s the only one that makes me feel safer than other ones out there. Unlike the S, the M tighteners are very hard to move up and down. Overall I’m only sticking with it because it’s the best for him so far and it’s highly adjustable for the different shaped chests and torsos. Around 30 bucks is steep for something that isn’t full proof. Colors are nice though (lime and turquoise), it’s light and doesn’t choke. They also sent me a messed up one when I bought used “like new” with permanent imprints and holes in it.

Excellent Harness for Trachea Issues
I got this for my chihuahua rat terrier mix because he seemed to be having more issues with trachea/ windpipe collapse with age. He had been stopping to snort during our walks which had never been an issue when he was younger. He will also cough after drinking water occasionally, and that seemed to get worse on the days when he would pull with his regular harness on a walk and have to snort for a minute. Enter the Gooby harness. I’m super pleased that it doesn’t reach his neck, but is instead scooped below the area that might trigger his trachea issues. The Small fits him great, as a dog with a 17 inch chest and muscular shoulders. I didn’t even have to adjust the straps at all. It took him some time to get used to the different snap noise it makes when I put it on and he is sensitive to it when it tightens, but he’s gotten used to it and it has actually helped decrease his pulling generally. But also I know if he does get excited and pull, it’s not going to be harmful for any of his more delicate throat areas and the foamy cushioning around the chest parts keeps him from getting chafed, which is also a concern for my dog usually. Overall, just an excellent design that solves several issues for for my dog. He almost never has to snort on a walk now and it seemed to help decrease the coughing when he drinks as well- I guess because the trachea is not being aggravated routinely. I’ll be sticking with this brand for the foreseeable future.

I have three other harnesses and none of them stay on my dog when we go out for running.The design of this harness is genius! Whoever designed it should get a reward or something. It’s fantastic. The faster we run and the harder he pulls, the tighter the harness becomes. The harness didn’t come off Not even once !!!Absolutely perfect harness ! For running or even just for simple walking.

Comfortable and Houdini free! 😃 I’ve had several precious dogs over the years and tried many different harnesses, from low end to high end, and never really found one that I could actually give thumbs up too. But with my present lil girl, Oakley a 23lb Cockerpoo, I’ve tried a few different harnesses and was still unhappy with them until I came across this one, it must be in my opinion the best harness out there! Not only is it a “step-in” harness, which is so much easier than trying to get a harness around the dogs head and ears 🙄, it seems to be super comfortable. Why? Because as you’re walking your dog the harness fits loosely around its girth and that’s the amazing part, for one it gives your dog comfort and flowing air but it’s also impossible to pull a Houdini! Because the moment they try to break free from their harness the top strap closes in on the harness and tightens snuggly rendering the harness safe from escape! When I received it, I was a bit skeptical, cause it’s minimalist, lightweight and the double straps seemed odd. But once I had it on her and properly adjusted, I understood the smart configuration of it, wow! I will definitely keep buying this harness going forward. Bought it in size medium for my 23 pound girl.
