LeAcademic Wound Care Silver for all pets – read the insert; very long shelf life
4 ounces of Pet Wound Spray with Colloidal Nano Silver for under $10 when I ordered it, seemed like a great deal, so I jumped on it for future wound care. Testing it, I found that using it initially required about 50 times depressing the plunger to get it to spray. But once the pump is fully primed, it sprays a nice fine mist. It smells nice and I even tasted it since the instructions sheet indicates it is okay if your pet licks this from their wound. The taste is not great, but it didn’t turn my stomache, so I think I can trust it’s safe for my pets.LeAcademic is listed as the Distributor, so I had to do a lot of digging to find out where this is manufactured, because that information is nowhere on the product (not on the label; not on the product box, and not on the insert.) I know many consumers, not only me, want to know where products we purchase for our beloved pets are made, especially when it’s something as important as a wound care product such as this.I finally discovered, deeply buried on Amazon, on the LeAcademic Amazon Store page (not even on their own company website), that this is manufactured in the USA with US sourced materials. I really wish that was included on the product itself.Another interesting factoid is that the insert contradicts the printed expiration date as shown on the product box. I include a photo collage of both those items. If I had read only the box and not the insert, I would expect this to have a shelf life of 12 months from date of receipt. But, having read the insert, apparently, as long as no silver collects on the bottle neck, it can still be used for 82 months from the date I recieved it. Huge difference and, totally good to know.I have also included photos of the instructions, which include safe dosage patameters. See below for my criteria to evaluate and choose products such as this for my loved ones, including which are met and not met. Notice that I mention Florida in one note, which indicates that I don’t know it Florida’s stricter labeling requirements are met in this product. I am not as familiar with Florida’s vetinary product labeling regs as I am with those for humans, but I do know they are more strict than federal regs, hence the question mark for that criterion.3 stars based on criteria set forth.CRITERIA important to me:(Met or not met or unclear: ✓ or Ø or ? )✓ Safety seals✓ Clear instructions✓ Safe/Effective dosage info✓ Ingredients List✓ Batch/Lot Number✓ Expiration/Best By Date✓ Shelf Life beyond arrival: 12 to 82 months✓ Cautions/Warnings✓ Allergens statementØ GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)Ø 3rd Party TestingØ COA (Certificate of Analysis)✓ Company contact Info (Distributor)✓ Country of manufacture (USA)✓ Name & place of business of the manufacturer, packer, or distributor✓ Taste/Scent/Odor pleasant/acceptable✓ Easily understood labeling in English? Works with out making pet sick from lickin .
My cat had a really bad mite infestation. Whatch your plants for signs of infestation. Needless to say, he chewed and scratched several areas bald and bleeding. I put a cone around his neck and sprayed the affected areas. This in combination with a strong flea and tick medication will clear it up in few weeks. Great natural antibiotics to heal. Bob

Works for itching
My cat has severe skin issues we have been dealing with for a while. This seems to help with her itching and scratching. Very easy to administer and I cover her with a onesie rather than a cone so she is unable to lick it. Highly recommended.
