Solid, easy to set up, and perfect size for small dogs
This crate looks and feels really solid. I got the 24.8-inch one, and it fits my puppy’s bed perfectly with just a little extra room left over. For a small dog, it’s a great size, cozy but not cramped.It came with clear, easy to follow instructions, but honestly, most people could probably set it up without even reading them. The latch feels secure and sturdy, not cheap or flimsy like some other crates I’ve seen.My puppy went in on his own the first time without any training, which tells me it feels comfortable and safe for him. For $36, it’s hard to beat the quality and value. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something simple, durable, and easy to put together.

Using for bird feeding to keep out squirrels
Bought this crate to keep blackbirds, grackles, groundhogs, and the local squirrels from hogging the oilers and peanuts.Within 30 minutes the tufted titmice, chickadees, nuthatches, and various sparrow species had figured it out.They are busy flitting in and out grabbing the seeds and nuts. The bar spaces on this crate are perfect size for smaller birds. Eastern Bluebirds and Carolina Wrens are also able to enter the crate. The Blue Jays, Red-bellied Woodpeckers and Mourning Doves can’t enter, but there’s plenty for them at the other feeders. They are larger and can muscle in with the squirrels and blackbirds.Crate was super easy to set up. No tools required, anyone can do this. Just slide it out of the box and start lifting the panels. You’ll see that the main sides fold up into a rectangle.The ends then are folded up and snapped into place. Door has top and bottom latches. More than adequate to prevent squirrels from figuring out how to open the crate door. And if they do, a wire or carabineer will secure it easily.It took longer to carry the packaged crate 100 feet to the patio than to set it up.Seems well built for our purpose. Cannot attest to dog, cat, bunny, etc pet use. We have an AC cover to keep the snow/ ice off the crate (we live in upper Great Lakes). We don’t expect the crate to last forever as we are leaving it outside. It looks like it will still last several years outdoors, especially if we cover it.Curious raccoons may investigate so we’ll be sure to empty the pan before dark. Fortunately, no Black Bears in our area. We really like that the pan is convenient to slide in and out and it is made of a resin material. Very sturdy.We are impressed so far with the crate. For the price, it’s a good buy and helpful addition to our bird feeding hobby.

Sturdy and super easy to assemble.
This crate is great! It assembles easily and you can quickly collapse it for transporting or storing it, if necessary. It holds up well. And the door is secure but easy to open and lock closed. The only slight drawback is the removable plastic liner. It is very slippery and even when I put a doggy blanket in there my girl was sliding on it. Since I use it in the back of my SUV when I take her places, this was an issue. BUT I fixed that by putting a small, outdoor doormat in it. The kind that is made of rubber but has a woven top. It fits perfectly in the bottom on top of the existing liner and it is also easily removed and washed. AND it gives her the traction she needs when in the crate.

The pup likes it
This crate was easy to build, feels like it’s good quality and durable, and the latch was secure. It wasn’t too flexible or able to bend, but folds up nicely for transporting. The design works conveniently and the puppy is doing great crate training in it! She loves it and it seems comfortable for her. We also like the divider that makes it smaller for her for now while she’s little and can be removed later as she grows. We would buy it again if we ever need another one!

Almost perfect crate for my Goldendoodle puppy
I was SUPER DUPER hesitant to buy this crate, because of the reviews saying the bottom latch was broken or something or the crate was unsafe and their dog was injured or even worse. I got this, tested it out, got my puppy, and now she’s potty trained. Well, technically, the breeder already potty trained her, but this crate is great for teaching a puppy how to be alone.I believe that crates are very necessary for dogs and especially puppies, because it keeps your dog in a safe place (but others may not agree; I am sorry that your crate was not the best :(( ). Crates also keep your pup confined to a safe place when you can’t supervise them.I really liked the divider on this crate! My Goldendoodle puppy grew very quickly, so we made the crate bigger by moving the divider. I do point out that it is pretty difficult to move the divider in the 4th point down below.Some things that I would like to point out are:1) Our crate’s latches were a bit difficult to unlock and lock. We would have to lift up the door slightly, so it would be aligned.2) If the crate was a little bit wider, it would be perfect! Our puppy doesn’t have a lot of room to lie down and take a nap. She takes up a lot of space in the crate for her naps.3) If there was another door on the opposite side of the front door, it would be very convenient, because we have a pet camera on the other side of the divider where our puppy can’t reach. BUT, when it gets knocked over if we accidentally move the plug, it can be hard to put it back up. So, if there was a door there, that would be helpful. We got the single door crate, but the double door crate has a door on the longer side. The double door crate wouldn’t help with our problem though.4) The divider is pretty difficult to move, because it’s tiring to put it in place. Most of the time, the hooks do not easily connect to the side of the crate, and it requires a lot of muscle. I don’t know if other people experience this, but just so you know.I would recommend this crate. It hasn’t been dangerous to our pup or us in any way. It is safe and convenient, so I think that this crate is essential for a puppy/dog! We haven’t found any sharp edges on the crate and everything is working pretty well!I would really like to say that this crate isn’t dangerous AT ALL, but I think that maybe SOME of the crates shipped from Amazon have a few problems. Our crate was great, but keep in mind that if you order this crate, it may be potentially dangerous, so check the entire crate for any hazards before letting your pup sleep and play in there.I hope you found this review helpful! We bought this for our large breed cat. There is enough room for him to lay down and for us to put in food & water bowels when travelling. Easy to assemble. Came packaged well and on time. Would recommend it to larger cat owners and small dog owners. Very sturdy with a removal tray for cleaning. Good price. Great that you can take down and store away for another day too!
