Large or small
Nice kit. Charges quick. The file works real good, nice smooth nails. The light is a plus. Not loud. I have a small and large dog, no issues using on both.

Work great. Little to no noise, doesn’t hurt

50/50 Great set for the price
I stated 50/50 because my dog is terrified of getting her claws clipped. The file works well but is a tad loud. Thankfully, my dog did not mind the grinder. The slippers on the other hand are a totally different story. You would think my dog was being brutally attacked when we clip her claws lol. I deducted one star because of the noise. Other than that, this set works nice and the quality isn’t too bad. Give it a whirl. I have a Bochi (Boston Terrier / Chihuahua mix) you would think she was a pittbull, but tiny as hell. Keep your fingers away from her mouth or she will help you clip your bails….and maybe a knuckle or two.

great deal, functions smoothly.
Absolutely love this grinder set! Such a great deal with both the clipper and two grinder heads included. The grinder works so well on my small dog—super easy to control, and the protective head and light make it feel really safe. The design is awesome, and honestly, at this price on Amazon, there’s no point in spending more, they’re all the same, but this one’s a steal!I have to say diamond grinder is the way to go if you have a sensitive breed and they have black nail that’s hard to see the quick. I tried clipping and also using manual fine, and also tried a grinder with sand drum. The diamond drum is the way to go. Longer life span, less noise, heat, and powder, and more control. I am very happy to finally found a solution.

Worth it
I have only used the nail clippers so far and I really like them. Comfortable to hold and they are nice and sharp. The light is definitely helpful, but my dogs nails are so dark…pretty sure I need some kind of mega watt light. Either way, still a good buy.

Great trimmer!
My dog and I loved this trimmer. He is a 15 year old rescue that’s a little on the grumpy side. I was able to use the grinder on him with no issues. He laid there as I used the grinder on all his nails. It worked quickly and was not loud at all. I would highly recommend this product for a senior dog that does not like to go to the groomers to get there nails trimmed.

Sound
Love the product. Everything looked good and intact and exact to the picture. Only thing is it says the product isn’t supposed to be noisy and it is. So unfortunately my dogs wouldn’t all me to you the buffer. :((

I’m not an expert at cutting my dogs nails but this kit had everything I needed in order to make sure my dogs nails weren’t super overpowering that they would damage everything or hurt herself, it took me a couple of tries to fully figure it out but these work perfect for cleaning up your dogs nails without having to bring them to the groomers ever single time! If you are looking to save money from having to constantly bring your pet to get their nails cut you should grab this set!

Well-made and works great! The 2-speed grinder is nice and smooth, and it has 2 little lights, one to each side of the grinder.I am very happy with this product and strongly recommend it!

The VIWIK Dog Nail Grinder turned what used to be a dreaded task into something surprisingly manageable. I’ve used clippers and grinders in the past, most of them loud, clunky and stressful for both me and Sadie Thompson, my scruffy four-legged sidekick. This one stands out for how calmly and smoothly it gets the job done. The diamond drum grinder is efficient without being aggressive. Even on my medium-sized dog with fairly tough nails, it trims steadily without slipping or snagging. The inclusion of a two-speed motor gives you more control than most generic models. The lower speed is perfect for small dogs or cats while the higher setting tackles thicker nails with confidence. What makes this tool feel less intimidating is the built-in LED light. It clearly illuminates the nail area and helps you avoid the quick, something even seasoned groomers sometimes miss. That single feature alone might save a few unnecessary vet visits or yelps from your pet.Noise level is another game changer. This grinder runs under 40 decibels. That means no whirring, buzzing or vibrations that might spook a skittish animal. I used it on Gigi and true to her feline instincts, she barely flinched. The USB rechargeable battery makes it all the more convenient. One full charge gave me multiple uses over the course of a week. The cordless design and compact weight keep the whole grooming experience uncluttered and quick. In a crowded market of pet grooming tools, this one offers a thoughtful mix of design and real-world performance. I would not recommend it for dogs with severely overgrown nails, but for routine care this tool fits the bill. Whether you’re trimming for hygiene, safety or just routine maintenance, it makes the whole process feel a lot more doable.

I have a puppy who isn’t a fan of nail clipping, so I was curious how the electric model would work with him.The manual clippers are good, they feel strong and sharp. The electric grinder is alright. It has a shield in place to help guide the tool to the nail, but I find it cumbersome. It makes me fuss with spinning the unit in my hand to line it up with the dog’s paw, instead of just holding it steady. I have an Australian Shepherd, and while his nails aren’t especially big, the shield sometimes gets in the way and makes it harder to get a good grind.I used the manual clippers to take down most of the nail length, then used the grinder to clean up the nails (especially underneath where dirt and debris tend to collect). I wouldn’t recommend going straight to the grinder unless you’re doing daily nail care with your pup, because it takes too long to remove bulk.My only other concern is that once you finally get the grinder seated properly on the nail, it throws a fine dust that always seems to blow right at your face. So plan accordingly.

My dog hasn’t forgotten that I accidentally cut the quick when trimming her claws a few months ago, and I am terrified of a repeat, so I’ve been wanting a nail grinder for a while but couldn’t settle on any particular one. When this one popped up in my feed I grabbed it immediately and I’m glad I did.My dog of course wasn’t quite so thrilled about it and tried to escape but once I bribed her with sweet potato treats (which she hadn’t had for a while), she cooperated with the process and decided it was bearable after all. It helps that the grinder is really quiet, although she definitely preferred the low speed to the high speed. The grinding is slow and gentle so there is very little chance of over-grinding, which I appreciated. I think it would have been helpful if it had a reverse option, but we did ok without it.It’s really, really difficult to see exactly where the quick ends on my dog’s claws, and there is also an abundance of fur even after trimming it all back in advance. I tried a Dremel once and it got caught in that fur, so I never used it again. I’m happy to report that this grinder didn’t even come close to snagging in the fur, and I was able to give her nails a nice rounded smooth shape.I thought the clippers that came in the set looked much better than the smaller pair I have had for years, but in use they didn’t seem as sharp. No matter, they did the job and I was able to take off the excess length without pushing my luck, knowing that I could finish off with the grinder. It’s great that it’s cordless, I was able to use it outside where the light was good and not have to worry about cords and outlets. Even though I was outside I still found the light helpful, although I did accidentally turn it off a couple of times while grinding.I’m very happy so far with this nail grinder, and my dog’s claws haven’t looked this good since they were done at the vet clinic during a surgery.
