Exceeded my expectations, and my dog loves it
Such an amazing toy for a hyper active dog, who constantly needs to be doing something!! A bonus is that my dog is a very picky eater and now she loves playing with the toy and eating her food.

Perfect mental stimulation!
We have a working dog breed, and this is the perfect way to get her brain working while also feeding her dinner. The video is from when we first used the device (she learned super quickly). Now we have the button put further away to also get her some more exercise! It fits her cup of food and setup is easy!

Fun & stimulating
This dispenser can be really fun for your dog if they are smart and are familiar with puzzles. Unfortunately, I had not introduced my dogs to puzzles before this, so they hadn’t received the mental stimulation they needed. Overall, I am happy with this as they are warming up with it. It might take a while for your dog to get the hang of it, but trust me, don’t give up. It will be really rewarding when they finally get it down. This dispenser is easy to manage and use. I was able to figure out how to use it very easily. The amount of treats dispensed is adjustable, so don’t worry about giving too much at once.

Keeps my dogs entertained while eating breakfast
I love this for my German Shepard and Belgian malinois. Uses energy for them to eat their breakfast. If you dog takes more than a cup and half though you do have to refill it mid meal and the button makes weird noises. But the charge lasts a while

The inside components are cheap and stopped working
The quality of this is horrible, it stopped working within two months of use. From the outside everything looks good, but when it stop working all of a sudden and I decided to investigate what’s wrong. This black wire was detached. Upon further inspection, each wire seems to also be low quality.

Awesome! BOING!
This came with very detailed instructions how to train your pet to use. I though, nah, can’t possibly take that long to train her… and it didn’t. She looked at it and was very interested. She touched the button and was delighted with the “boing” sound and was excited to find her kibble. 😄 it comes with a suction cup to keep the button secure to tile or linoleum floor and a spike to use outdoors. I ended up using the suction cup on some furniture because she loved the button sound so much she picked it up and ran around the living room shaking it to hear it causing the food to come tumbling out! This certainly was a hit. If you have a pet that gobbles his or her food, this would work great as a slow feeder or as we use it to stimulate her as a fun game. I love that I can control how much food comes out at a time, too!

My dog like it.
It works, you have to adjust the opening of the tumbler that dispenses the treats, so if you are mixing treats and they are significantly different in size you may run into trouble or may need to cut them to be of similar size. I left the push button on all night and the batteries died… eve though no one used it over night. My dog became acclimated to it fairly quick and he uses it.

Very cool until it stopped dispensing
I’ve had this for 9 months and my dog and cat love it. Every now and then it would not dispense but the randomness made more addictive, I imagine. Kind of like a slot machine. Sometimes it gives a large pay out, sometimes one or two treats, and sometimes none. Now, as you can see in the video, the gears seem to slip and the treat container no longer rotates. I’ve submitted a support email with this video to the US website support@pet-geek.com and after a week to teh address on the Chinese website— orchidpets@orchidpeys.com No response there so far either. My dog loves it so much that I’ll probably buy a new one. It’s not inexpensive, so I’m disappointed they don’t reply to support requests at all.If they do reply, I’ll bump my rating to 5 because it truly is my talking dog’s favorite toy. She dubbed it Food + Rain. Presumably because the kibble falls into the dish and reminds her of rain. Could be the sight if it falling or the sound of it.Coming up on 2 weeks of telling her it’s broken when she asks is what brought me here to warn others—it’s very fun but either not built to last or they just don’t stand by their product.Update: 4/14/24 I ended up giving up on a reply from the company and bought a newer iteration of a machine like this from another company, Potorama. Two far, so good with theirs. Theirs is USB C rechargeable for the main unit and the button, as more sound options, including a way to record your own. Neither my dog nor cat had any trouble realizing the new one works in the same way as this model that crapped out on us.

Love this! Super simple to use and great mental stimulation. My boy got the hang of it super fast and he loves it. Being that he’s a malinois and has a ton of energy I’m always looking for ways to keep him occupied and this is perfect

We have 3 dogs that race to the front door and behave pretty badly whenever we have a visitor arrive. I have multiple “visitors” per day and the dogs have been reinforced by their departure every time they bark. So, I set up the petgeek dispenser, hanging from a hook in the ceiling, at the back of the house. As people arrive we press the remote control and the treats scatter on the floor. The dogs now hear the doorbell, but instead of racing furiously to defend their property, they race to the back of the house and stare at the ceiling. My clients find it really funny. I’m delighted.I would like to purchase more remote controls though – can anyone help me with this?

I’m not sure whether it was worth the money or not yet. I watched the marketing video and have to say as yet the result is not exactly the same. You have to put quite a lot of food in the dispenser e.g. to make it worthwhile and work well. I set aside one meal for this which filled the dispenser 3 times. My medium sized dog is good with dog puzzles etc (a bit of a ‘problem solver’) . I taught her to “press” the button which she did, but it was not too stable/she was a bit too enthusiastic, and I had to keep putting it back the right way up. She quickly got the idea to go to the food dispenser after pressing the button, but then (while she was there) tried to get the rest of the food out of the dispenser by nudging it and pawing at it. I kept redirecting her to the button. Will keep trying.

Was really looking forward to using this with our 2 dogs as they already use buttons to ask for treats or talk to us. Product arrived before stated date, packaging was great and instructions were easy enough to follow.Once batteries were in the remote, and the unit plugged into the usb cable, we were ready, but sadly the remote was not. When pushed, it would connect to the treat machine and treats would pop out, but no exciting sounds. Tried it on setting 1 and 2. Changed batteries 3 times, and still no sounds. Disappointing!!!Will be returning this, even though the dogs understand the concept they were listening for the whirr of the treats turning and spilling out. Won’t work if in another room, need the sounds to work on the remote(button). 🙁
