sticks are thin and many of them, small treat that is the right price. the regular thick kind is too much money my dog is medium and she still likes the thin kind.

Ordered twice – two different experiences, third times a charm?
50/50 from us. My first order of the “pixie size” was perfect for my strong chewing young dachshund. They were all consistent with no knots or flaking of pizzle. They lasted a long time and she had to work to chew through them. We loved them!However, This last order of “pixie size” were almost all knots, hollow and flaked off. My dog would chew small sharp pieces off that were choking hazards and I had to take them away. you could hear her crunch through the bully sticks – a totally different experience. They didn’t last long. I had to take them away and toss the bag. I hope this was just a one off older bag. Disappointing since they are expensive.She is older now and I’m going to give the “regular” bully sticks a try from this brand. I’m hoping they are solid like the first time because she loves the flavor best of all the brands we have tried. Compared to others the smell doesn’t bother us, we think it’s low odor.

Why I won’t give it 5 stars even if it is my go to chews
I buy these all the time for shelter dogs. They are perfect for big, small and senior dogs due to its hollowness.The reason why I can’t give it 5 stars is that a third of the sticks are the size of toothpicks.
