Fountain Needs to be cleaned at least every three weeks while using new filters.

Great replacement filters for my cat’s fountains at a great cost. I have two water fountains for my two cats and these filters fit just like the stock ones that came with the units. The larger one needs to be soaked in water for 5 minutes before you put it in the fountain and the small black filter goes right into the pump to keep out large pieces of debris. I easily change them out every one to two weeks and you can see the gross stuff they stop from recirculating into the water. I like how large the package was so I didn’t need to worry about reordering every other month. Works very well for a multi cat family.
