Disposable dog boots. Good to have but tough to open to put on
These worked okay for short walks with the dog after a light snow. Lost 1 ⭐️ because they are REALLY hard to open to be able to get the paws in. Each one must be pressed together really hard during manufacturing. I even tried cutting one just above the top where they open. It did not matter. I finally figured you need to pinch each side & pull apart. Still not easy, but it worked. Having nails, I think, helped too. Once you get an opening, they are easy to open the whole way.They come with 2 rolls of something that is like a medical tape. It is like a cross btwn fabric tape & a light velco ( not scratchy). It sticks together & stayed. You put the paw/ leg in (once you battle getting it open), then you put the tape around it like a belt.Not for deep snow, but good to offer some protection from the ground if needed. They are made of a strong paper – fabric like material. Nice to have when needed. I just wanted to keep the salt on the street off my dog’s paws because she always licks them when she comes in. No sidewalks on our block, so we do go on the street.

Works for us, measure paw & check size chart
Fit/Sizing – Ordered Large for 27lb. corgi boy after checking size chart. His paw is 2.25″ from side to side (not curved around paw, just a flat measure), and about 5.5″ around. Medium sock has 6″ circumference (3″ for front & back), and I thought he’d need more than .5″ of wiggle room. Plus, getting socks on a dog can be frustrating, and figured a little extra room wouldn’t hurt. Glad I got Large! These are long on him because he has short legs, but I can cut them down. Measure your dog’s paw and check size chart, you want the sock to be bigger than the paw. Size chart is accurate, so use paw measurement rather than weight suggestion.Materials/Design – Like a non-stick anti-tearing bandage material. Reducing 1 star because the sticky bandage for securing the sock isn’t as effective as the kind I have purchased separately. Mine is the same type but sticks to itself better. I’ll use my own tape. I think it’s waterproof enough to protect from licking, not so sure about wet outdoor use.My situation – I have 2 corgis who have gotten hot spots on their feet (not currently), which won’t heal if the dog incessantly licks at it. Before, I would put ointment on, apply a nonstick gauze pad, and wrap the sticky bandage tape over that. This looked easier- apply ointment, put the sock on and secure it.I take time to write honest reviews that I would find helpful. I include personal details because what works (or not) for me may not apply to everyone. I’m using on dogs primarily to deter licking. Durable enough for our purposes. Current price of about $12 for a 40 pack seems ok even w/ the inferior tape.

I ordered these because my boyfriend’s dog is the most tender-footed little thing I’ve ever met. He loves to fetch, but will do it until he wears his little pink paw pads raw. We have bought some booties to put on him during fetch, but they do come off sometimes, so I figured it would be good to have these in stock in case he tears his feet open again.These seem to be pretty well made; I didn’t notice any manufacturing defects or anything like that. They’re easy to get on – they just slide right over his paws. For size reference, he’s a 25# Corgi-Mini Aussie mix. They’re pretty thick, I don’t have any concerns about them tearing or not protecting his paws. Functionally, they also aren’t too slick. They sort of have a fabric feel on the outside, not plastic, so they have a little bit of texture for grip. They have a more plastic-y coating on the inside to protect from moisture.In terms of getting them to stay on, I’ve only used them once so far and I think I’m still getting the hang of it. The tape could maybe be a little stickier. I only wrapped it around maybe 2.5 times and the tape popped off after an hour or so of him running around on it. I think using more tape or maybe cutting some strips of the other vet wrap bandages I have would get them to stay on a little better, but really it was the booties I was after not the tape so much, so no worries there.Overall, if the little guy hurts his paws enough that we need more of these, I would order these again.

Hot Pavement and Hot Sand Protection for Paws.
If you are like me, I can’t tell what size I should order to get the right one for my dog’s paws when it comes to paw protectors. This product solves that by making an easy to slip on and wear bootie that is secured by provided tape. Easy on and easy off makes these so good. Here in Southern California’s hot desert, we don’t need so much the booties for cold weather, but for the hot sand and hot pavement these fit the bill easily. The disposable protectors provide just the right ease of use and comfort for my pet. The booties are soft, yet thick enough to protect their paws, and are quality made to keep them functional even though being disposable. Good value for the money.
