The Function of the feeder
This is not as easy for a cat to operate as shown on the product data plus very noise when pain and scares the cat.

Cats not impressed
Lever doesn’t reset. Cats can’t make it work. Cats ignore it

Works like it says
This cat toy works how it says it does. The mechanism for expelling the treats has to be pressed down harder and faster than my cats can do. They like it just fine

Cats? Maybe…
An interesting little food dispenser for sure. It says it works for cats, the package says small dogs. I think the right cat could figure this out, but it does take a little pressure to get it moving. My cats haven’t figured it out yet, but we will keep trying!

Tried this out on a dog, not sure an average cat could work this toy.
I got this toy because there are similar toys marketed towards dogs and I wanted to see how clever mine was. Unfortunately, there are a few issues with this toy. The first is that the dispense button/lever is actually quite difficult to push down for a small dog and/or cat. You can depress it partially, but the spinning mechanism most likely won’t toss out any treats unless it gets a good rapid push to build up speed. Secondly, even with the anti slip pad added to the bottom, and this toy will still slide and fall allover the place. Maybe it would work better on carpet, but my entire house is hardwood flooring. When my dog was trying to engage with this toy, it slid so much that she was trying to turn it over vs. press the button. Lastly, it is made of a very lightweight, hollow plastic and I feel like a few good drops and this toy is toast.I like that the toy included 3 different covers with varying dispense hole sizes; but man those things are a pain to put on. One tab is slightly larger than the other to help you point the hole in the right direction, but they don’t fit easily into the grooves and take some fiddling to get just right.Overall, this toy is a great idea that is poorly executed. With some improvements it could be better, but I can’t recommend it as is.At the end of this video is the only time she ever pressed the lever lol!

Lever is too hard to push down.
