What the pros use.
This grooming product was the one the breeder of my show dog insisted I use. It’s not expensive, because you mix it something like 16 to one. One bottle lasts me years. I use it in a spray bottle to nourish and protect the coat, and the act of brushing or combing with this product cleans the hair shafts individually. It fluffs the coat and grows profuse coat for the show ring. For my short haired dogs, it’s ideal to use and scrub up coat with a wash rag or boar bristle brush, to extend time between bathing with water. A life saver, makes my dogs a joy to smell and pet. Can’t live without this product.

The Do-it-all Conditioning Treatment!
I have been a professional groomer for nearly 14 years. I’ve tried so, so, SO many brands of products, and for the longest time, I hated almost all conditioners. They claimed to add no weight to the coat but they almost always do, not to mention the fact that they seem to never ever rinse out. Enter Coat Handler. AMAZING. STUFF. It’s probably easier to list the things that it won’t do; but it will not weigh the coat down, at all – even if you use it as a leave-in. If you choose to rinse it, it doesn’t take long at all. Brushout is easier. Have any matted pets? Add this product as a leave-in, turn on your HV dryer, and watch the mats disappear like magic (not completely felted matting, just your average oops I didn’t brush the ears for a week matting). The fragrance is pleasant but very muted and almost disappears after drying. It desheds beautifully. Works with almost any coat type, too! The only thing I’d say it doesn’t really do is hydrate skin, but there are other products specifically for that purpose. This product is any groomer’s best friend!

As a professional groomer with 13 years , I first encountered this shedding conditioner at my old shop. Initially, I wasn’t fond of the scent at first, but once it dries on the dog, it smells incredibly clean,Helps get rid of skunk smells on dogs like Golden retriever’s and my clients have mentioned how long the fragrance lasts. Since purchasing it for my home grooming business, I’ve had numerous customers ask me what shampoo I use because they say it holds up better than any other groomers they went to in the past. This is great feedback for me, of course! I also got a compliment that their dog was much softer than usual.I also recently bought the all-purpose conditioner from the same brand, and I’m excited to see how it performs. But I love this so much I’ve been diluting the shedding conditioner to use on all dogs, just to add that lovely clean scent after bathing. Like I mentioned before at first, the smell was a little odd but now I really enjoy it. Plus, I’ve used it on my own standard poodle, and a few days later, the smell is still great leaves his coat nice and shiny .Overall, I’m very pleased with this product!

Very Good Product
I have a standard poodle and do my own grooming, though I am not a groomer. This product was recommended repeatedly as I tried to educate myself on grooming, and for good reason. We use it in a spray bottle and it works well whether she is wet or dry. It helps control static and makes her coat easier to comb. I have tried a few other products and nothing comes close to doing as good as the coat handler products, so I just stick with what I know works well. It is a concentrate, 15 to 1, so even though it seems expensive initially, it really is very economical to use. I purchased the gallon size so I will always have it on hand, and that size will last a very long time, and with the curly coat of a standard poodle, I need plenty of it.

I have use this product for 25 years without issue. Worked well on a dog with numerous skin allergies. Has a very pleasant smell instead of an overpowering flowery scent which seems so common in everything today.Great product I’ve used for years! Last forever since it’s so concentrated.
