Nice and sharp cutting!
I bought this clipper for my standard poodle, and mini poodle. Well, this is mor for small dogs, but it does work for a standard poodle. I like that is a sharp and quick cut, it won’t stress the dogs. I had the other kind of nail clippers but I found it is difficult for me to insert the nail to be cut. I recommend this one for at home use!

Misleading
Ordered what was advertised as the black Andis nail trimmers as a backup in case my others decide to ever kick the bucket (6 years strong and I love them!), and received the greens ones instead. I’ve had the green ones in the past, they don’t last anywhere near as long. When you have a heavy day ahead of you, and they break after the first dog, it kinda messes up your day a bit.. Returning them.

Great product!
These are easy to use and give a nice clean cut. I bought these Andis ones to replace a cheapy pair that was no longer cutting clean. I was super impressed with the quality and it has rubberized grips to prevent slipping. YAY! It also has a guard, so for those of you who are newbies or if you are just unsure – put the guard in place. I’ll take these over the type where you put the dog’s nail through a hole and these are far superior. If you do have any sharp edges, you can always get a nail file at Sally for acrylic nails and file them off. I haven’t had to do that with these clippers though. Nice clean cut. If they do get dull from lots of use, would have no issues buying these again for the quality and price.

So much better for cats than the scissor-type clippers.
I already had the large Andis Premium nail clipper that I use for my German Shepherd dog, and they work great, so I bought the small nail clippers to use for my cats. Previously, I had been using a scissor-type nail clipper for my cats, and it was terrible. It seemed to crush their nail more than cut it cleanly, so I bought this hoping it would be a better solution, and it definitely was! Not only do I find this easier to use and maneuver than the small cat nail scissors, but it also cuts their nails much more cleanly, without crushing them. This small clipper also comes with a nail guard to help prevent nails from being clipped too short, which I push aside and don’t use, and the cutters have a safety lock on them that keeps them closed when not in use. Overall, I definitely recommend these for cats over the scissor-type nail clippers!

Good clippers for mini breeds
My doxie needed her nails cut so badWe never let her go this long, but our clippers were lent out and have yet to find their way back home. We tried two other types of clippers and after those failed we bought these. They cut real clean, are easy for hubby to use and handle. Theybade small enough to where pur dog doesn’t see them, which makes her calmer. I’d recommend this over the products we used before these.

I am so glad I bought these.I have a couple of nail clippers than have never been that good.I couldn’t believe how sharpe they are and not heavy or bulky.The guide is brilliant. I wasn’t sure how much i could trust that.So I tried it with some uncut spaghetti. It takes off just a slither which is perfect 👌

Always had small dogs and have always used normal sized clippers. My Toy poodle hates having his nails clipped, it frightens him and having black nails he’s had his quicks clipped (by me and the Vets) more often than he or I would like. I recently bought an Andis rechargeable file, which is great, but my dog has very long nails and filing them, though easy, can take some time. I looked for a new set of clippers and saw this smaller variety and I am so pleased with them. Set to just remove the tips they don’t catch the quick, which leaves me a shorter nail for filing. I just wish I’d had these for my other dogs. No more pain and guilt. Fully recommend these clippers.
