Not a Miracle Comb
This comb is a 3.5 in my book. Compared to my normal brush it removed about half the hair in the same amount of time. Further, it didn’t catch and hold the hair in the brush as well as as a typical wire brush does. That being said, my cat is quite picky about brushes and combs, but he didn’t seem to mind this one. So I would guess that people who have cats with sensitive skin might have some luck with this. As far as durability is concerned, I would say that the teeth feel flimsy and it wouldn’t surprise me if one or more of them broke at some point. Also, I have small hands, but I could not get more than three fingers comfortably into the center ring. People with big hands might have trouble putting their fingers through the center slot. I suspect that people who have a long-haired cat might have more use for this style of brush. It just seems like the teeth would be more likely to hold onto longer fur, and I don’t really have any way of testing whether or not it’s any good at detangling knots because I have a short haired cat. It’s not terrible, but I suspect in most cases it isn’t the miracle brush that’s going to make a brushing-averse cat suddenly love being groomed.

I don’t know why I thought this would work, the plastic comb just pulled my cats hair and hurt him, one swipe that’s all it took, I felt so bad, my cat wasn’t very happy with me.

My boys I use a metal brush. That gets way more hair out in a short time. But they won’t sit still for long.With this they will just relax and you can do all. Does remove any Matt’s not a lot of down at one time. But I think they love the massage
