Nail clippers
This is great helps find the blood for my puppies nails. It’s a little big for my 6 pound puppy but it does the job

Great for Bunnies
These have made my life worlds easier over the hard to use, dull, and not to mention cheap pet clippers from the store. The light fixture is a lifesaver when it comes to avoiding sensitive places. I couldn’t go back to living without it!

Good clippers! Helpful for beginners but good for more experienced users too!
Use this as a vet tech for work! Great for clipping nails very sharp! I honestly do not use the light much but see it would be helpful for beginners or not experienced owners. The plastic catch piece is great for when I am clipping lots of kittens nails at neuter events!

Who Knew You Needed a Light?
These are neat! They cut my squirmy cat’s nails without leaving frayed tips. Pretty low bar for clippers, right? But, that little light shining exactly where I needed it was an unexpected gift. You can see precisely where the cut should go, without hurting your cat. And, that little cup that grabs the claw bits after the clip? That’s pretty sweet, too! No more flying nail tips. The handle fits my hand better, as well, so I’m not struggling to angle it just right as my kitty is wiggling. I keep them near my chair where “we” sit at night so I can clip when the moment is right. No need to fiddle with my lamp. Little good things can make your life a little easier. Cheers for this product.

The claw-catcher always opens
Well as you know there are tons of options for claw trimmers. I went out on a limb and tried one that wasn’t reviewed. The good:Sturdy with integrity. Comes with batteries for the light (look out because some I looked at don’t). The light is pretty adequate.Has a locking mechanism but not sure if it’s needed because it’s small anyway but nice luxury.Sharp guillotine style clipper. So you do need the thread the claw inside of it.Price was fair for the sturdiness .The cons:The claw-catcher doesn’t stay shut so pretty much worthless. A slight wiggle from kitty and it will open so pretty much worthless.I’ve decided I don’t like this type of trimmer much and neither do two of my three cats. The light helps to see the claw but not really the blood vessels especially with a squirming kitty. The directions are poor. Just a schematic of the clipper on the outside of the box and NO internal directions with tips on how to use it properly so I’m just doing my best. It takes me at least 3-5 minutes to do a cat which as you know is 3-5 months from the cats perspective. The vet does it in 30 seconds! Obviously I need some experience but come on. Just not made for rapid use.I have yet to try with the feistiest third cat. I’m dreading how it’s going to go down. I tried with the most docile and then the middle attitude one. The docile one seems to be holding a grudge against me and it’s breaking my heart but it’s only been half a day, the middle one was more annoyed but seemed to have gotten over it quicker. You know how cats differ hugely. I’m kinda intimidated by the last cat. It is my wife’s special buddy but she refuses to do it so I expect the worst. I may need to use gloves.Overall maybe I need some more practice as it is the first time I’ve done this but for now I’ll give it 3 stars. The biggest negative being the claw catcher being worthless. It doesn’t have a firm seal to keep it closed. Also it claims it has a safety stop to avoid cutting a nerve ending and that’s just not true. You have to be careful or you will nick the nail nerve and cause a little blood if not careful. I will keep it hoping it will get better for me with skill and for cats with routine. I’ll update if that happens. Would NOT repurchase as of now,

Metal rusted, light doesn’t work
The light doesn’t work. The metal rusted soon after purchase. I would NOT recommend these clippers.
