Great Detangler
This is AWESOME. We have a mixed breed that is not fond of being brushed, she tolerates it for about 4 minutes than it becomes difficult to get her to be still. She wasn’t sure of the Detangler at first, she eyed it skeptically and started to bolt, (it does look scary) I got her to relax and she LOVED it. She let me use it for both sides of her body and actually backed into my legs to let me finish brushing her rump and tail. I think I removed another dog worth of fur (she is brushed 2x a week). She looked like she had put on a lot of weight through winter, but after brushing, she hadn’t, plus her coat is already starting to look shiner.I used it on our 8 month old Havanese, she did well with it, but the detangler isn’t the right brush for her. Her hair is very long and it did tend to tangle it on her back and sides, it did well beneath her front legs (where she tends to matt) and on her feet (also tends to matt). It is easy to hold unto even with arthritis in my hands, I didn’t drop it once (I usually drop the dog brush a few times when I’m using them), my hands didn’t cramp up either. This is a great little detangler. I would definitely recommend to others.

Better than most
So worth the money, better than others I’ve bought, I’ve gone through so many different types at this point. Ive got a black lab shepherd mix and about ~5-10 minutes every couple days keeps her pretty good. I mean, of course she still sheds a little but this grabs the hair better than other rakes. The rake really gets the job done. It also feels super sturdy which is nice

Use with caution!
I bought this product as my Collie was blowing his coat and his hair was super matted. Product worked as intended. Be careful if you continue to use as a regular brush you will remove ‘healthy’ undercoat and ruin your dogs fluffiness, 🙁

Works great!
I really like this rake, especially the double sided feature, as it cuts down on tools in my drawer. Im a professional groomer and find it’s quality and functionality in line with more expensive tools I’ve purchased at dog shows

This was the best help!
Woked as adcertised. 23yr old cat began to get Matt’s and this worked along with small amounts of coconut oil massaged into her fur prior to using the tool. Really a relief to find it.

Pulls too much
This works well, but pulls the hair too much and irritates the dog. Normally she loves to be brushed and never gets irritated.

Removes winter coat great
Works exactly as described. Love the riveted handle. I’ve tried other looking models that were plastic and the handles fly off while trying to drag through winter coats to help remove for summer. Ordered a second one, so my daughter can help groom our 6 great Pyrenees too

I was not expecting anything from this brush and am blown away at how much hair it grabs onto from my Goldens undercoat. The photo I have chosen is from one brush across half of her back. One stroke and all that hair! And she is brushed weekly with a Furminator so it’s not like she hasn’t been brushed in months or something. This brush has exceeded my expectations. I wasn’t expecting it to be good but it’s really lovely for my girl. It’s not sharp along her skin and she enjoys the brushes.I haven’t tested it on my kitten but she doesn’t really have the cat fur yet but still her kitten fluff so I don’t think it would grab hold of much until she’s older and her full coat has come in.

I have a Border Collie / German Shepherd dog. She definitely has a double coat with a coarse outer layer and a very fine, shorter fur underneath. The fine fur is constantly falling out and floating through the air every time the furnace turns on. Daily brushing is essential for us.The undercoat rake works very well for daily work. The handle is comfortable to hold and feels strong. The brush itself is comfortably heavy and is very solid. The angle of the comb can be adjusted to improve function and make it more comfortable to use.I was able to draw this through her fur without much effort. Every stroke was removing fur. Regularly removing the fur from the rake was important to keep the brush clear and working well. There was occasionally a bit of pulling on the fur, but by going not too fast it didn’t seem bother her much. The brush head has one side with closely spaced tines (roughly 2mm) presumably for finer hair that has been thoroughly brush so there are limited tangles. The other side as broader spacing (roughly 5 mm). I used this for the initial brushing.Overall, I liked this brush very much and will use it regularly.

I got this to groom my 60-pound dog. She is adopted, and suspected to be a Golden Retriever and Australian Shepherd mix. She definitely has a double coat.I happened to misplace her old double-sided undercoat rake, and got this as a replacement. My previous one was cheaper (around $15-$20 range). For a bit more (regular price $30, currently with a $4 coupon), this one is surprisingly more efficient.I do wish the handle was more ergonomically designed. It is very sturdy and well made, but I wish it was shaped or have a rubber/silicone sleeve that provided a comfort hold. That being said, I was able to adapt my grip by holding closer to the metal triangle better control in certain areas on my dog.My dog certainly seems to like this brush. Typically, she is wary of grooming supplies. However, with this one, she actually stayed settled and napped afterwards.Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and functionality of this undercoat rake.

This 2 sided undercoat rake from Wopqaem works well for raking my dog’s undercoat. This brush feels well constructed so I think it will last several seasons. It isn’t spring time yet, so no deshedding is needed yet. I did do a quick test and this brush does pick up the undercoat hair quite well. I only used the 11 teeth side but I think the deshedding side will be fine also. I also found it interesting to see that the funny company name is actually the first initial of the founders rather than just someone randomly pounding on their keyboard.
