Perfect brushes
These tooth brushes are perfect. I use the small side to do my dog’s front and back teeth on the bottom jaw. The remaining teeth I do with the larger side.Strong buy recommendation.My dog is a 70 lb Goldendoodle.

Well shaped heads and non slippery handles
I use these for my two 40 lb mutts and the size and shape of the heads are just right. It has a non slippery handle so it’s easy to maneuver to be gentle when brushing their teeth.

Nicely made….love the long handle….bristles are a bit stiff to start
Our dog was pawing at her mouth. I had taken her to the vet during last summer for a ear yeast issue and they mentioned the tarter build-up. I started giving her dental powder, and then I started using the rubber fingertip things (thinking comfort), for brushing her teeth, but I didn’t feel they were effective enough. I have bamboo in the back yard (a lot of it), so I tend to gravitate towards products made with it. The brush is long and sturdy and the small end is nice for front teeth, but also likely best for smaller pups. I feel it will do a much better job then the rubber and time will tell. I have to keep up on it which is the hardest part, but I know how important dental health is for dogs. Our dog doesn’t try and bite the brush or handle, so I hope they last a long time.***NOTE…I highly recommend soaking the bristles in hot or warm water prior to brushing to soften the bristles. They are quite stiff otherwise depending on your dogs sensitivity and especially compared to he rubber fingertip brush. I assume they will soften with use like any other toothbrush type item.

Nice if dogs don’t chew them
These are nice since they are biodegradable. I personally think everything that can be biodegradable absolutely should be, simply because I have been to the city dump a couple of times and I realize the insurmountable size of our society’s garbage accumulation buuuuuut my dogs like to chew on toothbrushes, and I encourage this b/c it makes for good brushing but these, given that they are bamboo, break apart almost immediately. If you’re the type to do all the brushing of your dog’s teeth, these are for you. If your dog likes to chew on toothbrushes, these may not be for you. That said, I think these are a great idea and we are headed in the right direction for the sake of our planet.

Likely better for dogs than cats
The smaller end is still too big for a full-grown cat’s mouth. I’m glad it’s not plastic and the bristles seem soft enough, but the size is not helpful at all. It does seem better suited to dogs in general.

The design of this brush makes cleaning my dogs teeth easy
Having grown up watching my aging dogs lose their teeth late in life I didn’t want the same fate for my own dogs. At a certain point I knew I had to listen to my vet when they told me to start brushing their teeth.The soft bristles on this brush don’t seem to hurt my dogs gums when I use it. The long thin handle makes it easy to reach the back teeth. The handle is also strong enough that when my dogs bite down on it as I’m brushing, it doesn’t break.
