These Are Amazing Tools For Shedding Dogs
These are amazing! The two rubber hand brushes are adjustable to fit most adult hands and work great on short haired dogs. The de shedder for thicker coats has tighter teeth on one side but both sides are great to get shedding hair easily. Our dogs love both. They’re easy to clean & made a big difference with our dogs.

This thing pulls out so much hair it’s insane. Works way better than the cheap tools from Walmart. It doesn’t pull the skin and the dogs didn’t complain. I only did 4 stars because it takes some elbow grease, but it’s still worth it.

I recently purchased this grooming kit with the goal of tackling the heavy shedding my Siberian Husky goes through, and here is how it has performed so far. My dog has a dense double coat with a heavy under-layer that sheds profusely during seasonal blow-outs, so I needed tools that could help reduce loose hair, mats, and tangles.What I like:The kit includes a variety of tools — a rake (for undercoat), a metal comb, a bath brush, and likely another grooming tool in the 4-piece set — which gives flexibility depending on what part of the coat you’re working on. On the first session, using the undercoat rake side helped pull a surprising volume of loose fur out of the under-coat layer, which is exactly what my Husky needed. After a couple of uses, I saw less hair collecting on the floor and on the furniture, which is encouraging. The metal comb worked well at finishing off tangles and smoothing the outer coat after the deeper rake work. The tools feel sturdy enough and the handle grips are comfortable for my hand, which makes a longer grooming session more manageable. The “extra-wide” brush / rake design seems suitable for a larger dog with an expansive coat surface area.What could be improved:While the tools perform well for multiple purposes, they are not as aggressive or “pro-grade” as some higher-end professional grooming tools designed specifically for thick, heavy undercoats; if you had extremely heavy mats or a dog with very harsh dead coat, you might still find yourself needing more specialized or premium grooming tools. Also, the bath brush component is helpful, but when the dog is dry and shedding heavily, the main progress comes from the rake and comb; the bath brush was more of an adjunct. Because the kit is multi-piece, you might need to rotate tools and invest a little time to use all components effectively rather than simply “one pass and done.” Also, for a dog as active as a Husky, some of the hair still comes out between sessions simply because of the natural shedding cycle.Summary:If you are dealing with a medium to large long-haired or double-coated dog like a Husky and want a grooming kit that works through shedding and tangles at home, this kit delivers solid value. It helped me noticeably reduce loose fur after just a couple of sessions, which is a definite plus for a breed with heavy shedding. If your pet has lighter shedding or a shorter coat, this might be more than you need; conversely, if you’re a professional groomer dealing with extreme coats all day long, you might want to supplement with higher-end tools. For regular homeowner use, though, this kit hits a very good balance of function and price.

Great undercoat brush, and the bath brushes are awesome!
I bought a similar grooming rake recently and was amazed at how much shedding undercoat it could pull from my German Shepherd. Life-changing, really. This one is just as good as the other one I bought. If you have a double-coated dog and you haven’t tried one of these yet, you’re missing out. This greatly reduces the amount of shed hair around the house, which my robot vacuum also appreciates. The handle is comfy to hold, too.This also comes with two dog bath brushes, which I was “meh” about because I already have a dog scrubby brush for the bath. But these are SO much better. As it happens, my short-haired dog recently had a bacterial infection that was causing some of her hair to fall out. Poor kiddo. She’s on antibiotics and a medicated shampoo, and the vet said to really scrub the crunchies out so she could heal. The bath brush is great for that, WAY better than my old brush. My old one has pointy nubs like a scalp massager. That’s fine for penetrating hair, but it can’t scrub the skin at all. This one has shorter, flatter nubs with little notches cut into the tips, so it can really get in there and scrub. It worked great on both my short-haired dog and getting shampoo really mixed into the fur of my Shepherd. I also like the adjustable loop handle, which is easier to use than the ones with a stalk on the back that you have to grip, especially if you have arthritis or tense hands.For the price, this is really a no-brainer. I would get these as gifts for everyone I know with double-coated dogs, for sure.

I’ve been really into grooming my dogs at home. I’ve used the grooming rake and comb on my Shih Tzu. I love when his hair grows out and he looks fluffy but with that comes increased chances for matting. The grooming rake and comb are easy to use and have been helpful in keeping the matting to a minimal.The silicone bath brushes have been amazing. I love that they are easy to clean and dry. I can also appreciate that bath brushes had an adjustable band, helping to secure it to your hand. This is helpful if your dog gets wiggly when bathing them. I just add the dog shampoo to the bath brush, wet my dog and bathe them. They seem to really enjoy the texture of the bristles. Works on both my long and short haired dogs.The price and quality are both amazing! Definitely would recommend to any pet owner who grooms their dog at home or for in between groomers visits.
