Bully tested. Holds up well at the park where my bully has to be on leash. Still gives her room to run and play some. Definitely not for small dogs! This thing is big, but it has to be to hold the ribbon. Snap is sufficient. The light? Meh give that3 stars, but the leash itself, 5 stars. Retractable works good. Weight not to bad for its size.

One of the best leases I’ve ever owned and easiest as well to use. The locking mechanism is extremely easy to lock and unlock. Unlike some others would highly recommend.

Sturdy. Included cable with seatbelt clip on one end and leash clip on the other is reliable.
I have a standard poodle male who has ruined two retractable leashes by chewing through the ribbon or by running off and breaking it. He would do this if I wasn’t watching every second while we were seated outdoors. With this, with a vinyl-covered cable segment between the seat-belt-clip and leash clip on the other end, the ribbon wasn’t accessible to him. The light is useful though a little awkward. The poop bag holder is useful but gets knocked off easily. This leash has lasted a lot longer than the last two.

No chew cable broke, second use.
The leash itself has a good feel to it, and the light is a nice touch. Although the black no chew piece that comes with it did not meet up to the 110 pounds as stated in the description, and broke off during the second use. My dog is almost 50 pounds. This was a bit scary as my dog ran for the neighbor’s chickens, this could have been a very bad situation.

Mechanism held up well a few months. However all other features turned out to be pretty cr@ppy. – light was use once and never again because it is so weak. Poop bag holder – too small for a standard roll of bags and does not stay attached to the housing after a few days of use.After my dog would occasionally bite on the strap it developed some tears and eventually snapped after 4months of use.

Works as well as any leash I’ve had. Some assembly required to install the light; however, you have the choice of where you want to mount it, (left or right side), depending on how you hold the leash when walking your pet. I have an elder husky, (80 lbs), and have had no issues with this leash.

Don’t drop it what ever you do as the Poop bag dispenser will break off, bad design as it clicks into the retractable leash.
