I like it for my dog.
Love the leash for my little girl shih tzu. It’s large, but easy to hold on to and is long enough for my medical scooter to give her plenty of room to run. Retracts great for when she jumps on to ride. The leash itself is ribbon like, and does twist, but not a problem for the small dog.

Comfortable in hand
Not much better than the rest that are just like it. Not visible when a car comes near. Easy to use but I have to twist it to get the ribbon straight. Grip is very comfortable but it still slips out of my hand. Retracting sticks when my dog moves left or right.

Great leash for smaller dogs
So far so good. Leash pulls out nicely for my yorkie so he can extend it without too much effort. I really like the lock button on top and my bigger hands fit to it well. Haven’t had any trouble with it when fully extended but, I could see bigger dogs blowing out the spring if pulled on to full extension under load/pressure. It’s not a “big dog leash”.

Second purchase was a fail.
I bought the first one of this brand in 2022 and thought it was the best I could get. Over time, the cord started to shred but I figured it was natural due to the amount of use we got out of it. I really liked the way it retracted over other brands I tried.I bought the 2nd one in January 2025. Again, I was pleased for some time, but then it suddenly stopped retracting into the case. When I gave my dog some lead but then needed to pull him back again, the cord just sat on the ground. It would not retract back into the case. At first, we thought it may have twisted at some point, so we pulled it out completely when at home to check for any issues, but there were none. It just stopped retracting. This was very disappointing and most likely I will not replace it with the same brand. This happened in May 2025, not even six months of use. My dog is a French Bulldog, so not some large breed.

Love this. Used it yesterday for the first time & I’m very impressed. The lock is easy to use & extremely strong. Being in a wheelchair I worry my furbaby will get tangled in the lead/wheels but this was perfect. I was able to extend the lead to the perfect length to ensure she had enough length to walk alongside my chair or even in front a bit without worrying about her pulling or running in front of the wheels.
