Nice safety features + easy maintenance
Tbh, I don’t have pets and got this to keep my feet/legs warm bc I am a good hooman and my people-paws deserve warmth.Big pros:- Feels safe: the temp sensor keeps the pet from overheating into a fireball and it’s UL and FCC certified, which gives me peace of mind. Again I have no pets, so I won’t be chewing through the cord, but for people with pets the chew-resistant steel on the cord is a great feature. Note that the remote isn’t chew-proof though.- Specific temperature instead if low-med-high is really nice. And as mentioned I like that it can regulate at a specific temp instead of getting hotter and hotter.- Easy cleaning/maintenance: love that the cover can be removed + machine washed, and the inside can be wiped clean and won’t absorb scents since it’s waterproof.- Timer settings: also love the timer setting so I don’t have to remember to turn it off every time. It does have an always-on option too. For my purposes, it’s nice to turn it on at the beginning of the day on a timer, and have it shut off at night time automatically.- Cord is decently long (~5ft) and I like that it isn’t rigid — it lies flat (as you can see in the photo) so it won’t be a trip hazard from lifting off the ground.My only concern and possible con is the cotton cushioning. I worry it might bunch up or thin unevenly. Right now at opening the cushioning feels decent and uniform, though, so I will not deduct stars.I will update this review if I notice issues with the cushioning shifting or wearing down within a year. At the moment, I have no issues with this heating pad and think it’s well-made.

This heating pad designed to be used for cats and dogs is a great comfort to those animals in the cooling fall and cold winter months. The smart thermostat switch makes setting your preferred temperature simple. The shielded power cord keeps your pets from chewing on it. The pad is longer than it is wide and fits perfectly in a dog crate if wanted or makes a nice warm spot on the cold floor for your favorite pet. The cover reminds me of a well loved throw rug and it fits easily with any decor. With three cats and one small dog I may have to get another heating pad to keep them from fighting for the soft, comfy and warm spot.

Warm cozy dog sleeps for the winter with this pet bed
A heated pet bed is a fantastic idea! When this bed arrived, my Chihuahuas immediately took to it. I’m not sure how they knew it was meant for them, but they claimed it right away. The bed warms up quickly, and my dogs enjoy using it whether it’s on or off. It is definitely very functional and helpful.The thermostat is excellent; you can set the temperature anywhere from 86°F to 141°F, rather than just having low, medium, or high options. It also has a timer that can be set for up to twelve hours. The cord is chew-resistant, which is an added benefit, especially for those whose pets tend to chew on things.The plush cover is removable and washable, making it easy to clean, and it’s soft enough that my dogs absolutely love it. It has a cute appearance with its paw pattern. Plus, it has a low energy draw. Please note that this bed is designed for indoor use only, as the cord is not weatherproof.This pet bed would be particularly significant for older dogs that may need some joint relief. I highly recommend it; it will keep your dog warm all winter!This is so durable and will last a long time. This is an excellent value for the money.

Kitty likes it!
We ordered this for our aging cat who, like many senior cats, has lost a lot of muscle tone over the years and has gotten skinnier. He always seemed to like it warm, often stretching out in front of gas fire at night, and as he’s getting older, even more so.Although they say this is a “large” dog heating pad, it seems to be a good size for our medium-to-large sized cat. He likes to sprawl on it.The removable fleece cover is a nice touch and it will be useful to throw it in the washing machine for cleaning in the future.The instructions weren’t entirely clear how to turn on the “always on” function, but I think we figured out that setting the timer to “0” does just that. We only use it on the lowest setting, but I can tell our kitty quite approves!

Best thing ever for my senior cat
My senior cat loves loves this heating mat. My cat has got to be the most picky cat in the world, hence why he has nine different cat beds, and several different varieties of food, hence I thought this is going to be another meh item, but to my utter astonishment the Prince went on it as soon as I put it down. It has several different heat settings and also you can set it to shut off at different hour intervals, from 1 up to 12.The material is easy to maintain, that is if I can get someone off it long enough to do so. Since Prince William has received this heating pad , he is in bed from 8 and sleeps right until about 7, unheard of before. It’s funny watching him try to slink into his room unnoticed, no I see you sir, I am so happy with this that I have ordered another for just in case.Don’t hesitate to buy this warming pad it’s big enough for even a dog.
