Great bandage
Works well on toe injuries for my dog. Also wrap with self adhesive blue tape for longevity.

Serve their purpose
I think these work well for what they are meant for. Our dog has sores on his paws that he keeps lic. He’s been in a cone for weeks so I decided to try these to give him a break. We have a 120lb English Lab with very big paws. The XL size fit. They are a little hard to get on at first but after some practice it’s easy. I reuse them a couple times until they are too dirty to use. Only reason I don’t give 5 stars is the price. They are too expensive for what you get.

Functional, does what it says, my dog didn’t try to get it off.
my dog irritated her foot and this bootie allowed me to put on medicine and not have to put a cone on my dog. It took a few minutes for me to get her used to the bootie and then she was fine with it. GAME CHANGER. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. VERY HAPPY.

Easier than Coban/gauze but still gets destroyed
Love the concept but doesn’t withstand reality. My 70 lb lab wears a size large but that size is extremely hard to find. Purchased XL but had to return it because it’s way too big. Don’t understand why the manufacturer makes the customer turn the mitts inside out before application other than they don’t want to be responsible for the mitts tearing during that process which frequently happens especially with the smaller sizes. Much more convenient than wrapping a paw with gauze and Coban while being much more breathable and easier for the dog to walk if the size is correct. My dog still managed to chew her way out of these from the sides while the adhesive strip stays intact. Does not last and can’t reuse day after day. Not made for outside. Gets dirty and wet/damp depending upon the weather so either you need a protective wrap or you remove and reapply. Too expensive. Thought 12 would last me 12 days but boy was I wrong cause they either rip when you attempt to turn them inside out or the dog chews them off the paw if you don’t use a cone. Reminds me of the material used in packaging breakable fragile items.

Good Idea, but needs more descriptionof proper size selection
I can’t say more positive, because I felt that I was not given substantial information on size before purchasing. In theory, it is a good idea, but probably will always require medical tape back-up. I think that the medical tape fact may have actually been provided during my perusal of the item. It will not work for my cat for a couple of reasons. I should say that it will not work without bandage and tape. It is ventilated, and the problem that my cat has is a condition of under-the-paw-pad-infection. This causes splits, which although small, they bleed profusely. Thus, if the cover had stayed-on my cat’s paw, the blood would have run right through it anyway. And, for my purposes, that defeats the whole reason for the purchase. Also, in my defense, I looked through the product testimonials to find the right-size for my cat, before willy-nilly picking a size and buying it. A woman said that “small” fit her cat. It was enormous on my cat, and remained on his foot for all of 20 seconds. And, I bought SMALL?

They are worth it!
This product is awesome! I rescued a dog on the side of the road and his front paw pads were gone. After a month of using gauze wrap and lots of tape and having to have three people to change the bandages I knew there had to be a better way! Found these and thought I’d give them a try! I wish I had found them a month earlier. They may seem a little on the expensive side but they are worth every penny. Now, I can change his bandages all by myself, no fuss, no muss, no pulling it off before I get all the tape. I found another bootie with no skid bottoms and velco wrap so I put those over these. It works out great!

Only somewhat helpful
Our mini schnauzer had a toe injury. He could still slightly reach the injury in spite of wearing a cone, so while awaiting his surgery date we purchased these to try to protect the injury from his licking and from debris. We followed the instructions but the velcro tab was useless. The first time he wore the paw bandage it fell off within a couple of minutes. We had some self adhesive med tape so used that to secure the paw bandage at the top and that held it in place. Another issue is that they are packaged inside-out so have to be turned right-side out before use. There is a slightly open seam on one side and the size Small was difficult to turn, so each time we had a new one to turn the seam would tear beyond it’s opening during the process. The product seam was fragile and for us the paw bandage not much good beyond one day of careful use. It cannot be worn outside on wet grass unless you find a way to temporarily cover it (plastic baggie or plastic wrap with med tape works) but any waterproof cover must come off right after going outside so the foot can breath. The paw bandage was a bit helpful for the purpose we had in mind providing some coverage for his foot, and it helped that it was also breathable, but I would not call this a high quality product.

Check fold around leg before tightening & Tighten well
IT STAYS ON as long as you wrap it right and tight and make sure to rub around after so it sticks well. I’ve wasted a couple on the first day because I didn’t know how tight and how to wrap around foot leg area, probably didn’t check the fold before I tightened.PROTECTS AND VENTILATED / Not for outside- they sell seperate wraps to cover these booties seperately. I can’t rate the wraps because he does not need to go outside.Just so you know It’s inside out may help if you have small fingers or someone with small fingers to help you flip it.Only cons for me is that it’s a bit expensive, only wish they could make it alittle more affordable, as I change it up to 2 times a day to keep his wound clean and to check on his wound
