Perfect for Sea Monkeys
This tank is far too small for a betta, and putting a betta in this would be beyond abusive. But it’s a great size for a sea monkey tank. There are even holes in the sides perfect for adding an air pump and a heater.

This is so tiny and worthless. Save your money $5 more would gert you a fish tank vs a half a cup of water.

Small, Adjustable light, perfect tiny display
It’s a wee bit smaller than I expected but it does say that it’s 0.2 gallons. Pretty small!! It has a place for a wire to exit for a heater if needed and the light is adjustable. I’m super happy with this!!!

These worked great to hold my bettas while I cleaned their tank. They are sturdy and have enough room for them to move around.I do recommend rinsing the gravel if you are planning to put it in there with your fish. It does fog the water a little if you don’t.Please, do not use these as a permanent holder for your fish, they are much too small for a stable and happy life. Best used as a temporary home.🐠❤️

Perfect for Sea Monkeys (1 issue)
Updated 11/14/25One issue I noticed after a while, is that the lid for this closes or seals on the outside of the tank. As opposed to the inside like the traditional SeaMonkey tanks do. Because of this, the water evaporation or condensation that accumulates on the inside of the lid leaks out down the sides of the tank onto the base. I’ve yet to find a solution to this. So I’ve just been wiping it up. So I will unfortunately be looking for a new tank.(Original review):Nice little tank. The base with the 3 white light modes are nice (cool, soft, blend). It’s double the size of the little sea monkey tanks you find in stores so I recommend using 2 sets of the sea monkey packets to get started. Shown in the video, I purchased a pack of camera gel filters that you can put over the base/light to experience different colors.The only con would be that the lid could use a couple more air holes.

Clarity not as good as desired, it is sturdy
I got this to hatch brine shrimp in. It is sturdy, which is nice, but the plastic does not have good clarity – it’s wavy instead of perfectly clear. Will make viewing small creatures like brine shrimp more difficult.Light works, base looks nice. Lit fits well. I like that it has small cutouts that I can run tubing and wires through.Update: I got it set up and was letting it run with a USB mini pump overnight to make sure the salt was dissolved, with the lid on. The combo of the airstone bubbles hitting the lid and possibly just evaporation & condensation meant water that got on the lid and went to the sides, and dribbled down to the base. When I first looked I thought it was leaking, but then I realized what happened. I took the tank off the base, which meant pouring the water out to another container because the water under the tank & between it and the base formed a seal, so it was impossible to remove without sloshing water around. Water next to the electrically powered LED lights seemed like a bad idea, so I will not be using the base, which I paid extra to get because it looked nice. Reducing a star because of that.

Great sized containers for transferring fish out cleaning the tank. Has feeding hole at top of lid and two side vents that make it easy to drain dirty water out before putting fish back in clean tank. Comes with rocks and mini plants too! The only down side I would have to this is the betta suction cup leaf. One of the two had really sticky glue once water touched it so I am hesitant on putting it in the tank as it probably would irritate the fish.

I like this tank very much, I use it for my newborn cichlid fry & my baby shrimp, I place my fry in this tiny tank after being with their parents for couple weeks. It’s very convenient for me. I do clean it very frequently but it still helps me keep track of how much I feed them & how much they grow. They’ll go into a bigger tank once they reach a good size.
