High Quality, Effective, Recommended By My Vet
When my greyhound had stomach and intestinal issues a few years ago, our vet gave her a heavy-dose procedure using this brand’s probiotics. Afterwards, he said I should provide my dog a smaller sized pill every night. Sure enough, for the last 18 months, she hasn’t had any issue using this size of the product. The ingredients in this product do a tremendous job. As my vet said, it puts the good “germs” in her stomach and keeps the “bad” ones at bay. Foods alone don’t often provide sufficient protection. The fact that our veterinary hospital uses this brand tells me a lot too. It’s also a plus that I can get this on Amazon, as not all stores carry this, and like the other things I buy on Amazon, the price is good too.

I’ve been really impressed with Nutramax Proviable. My pet has had some sensitive stomach issues, and this supplement has made a noticeable difference. Great product, works well for our rescue pup with stomach issues.
This works well for my rescue pup that has always had stomach issues (he doesn’t have any diarrhea issues, just tummy and reflux issues). He had a lot of reflux issues and often times had really loud grumbling tummy noises at night and early AM. We tried all kinds of things to help (no medical isseus that we could find) and although a raw and freeze dried diet helped a lot (and NO food with pork), we decided to add this to his food to see if it helped. It works like a charm. We’ve been using it for about a year now and during that time, I’ve only heard his tummy once and it was not nearly as bad as it used to be and his reflux is almost completely resolved. I’ve tried other probiotics but none have worked as well as this one and I like how it has a multiple strains of beneficial bacteria, whereas many others only have one type. And the price point is a bit better than the other one I used to use for my older senior pup.

Solved my dog’s tummy troubles!
I got this for my senior dog because she was having so many tummy issues. She didn’t want to eat and when she did, she threw up. My very recommended a probiotic and I was skeptical that would solve the issue, but I gave it a shot. It’s worked amazingly. I got it about 2 weeks ago and she hasn’t thrown up at all and her appetite is back to normal. It did give her a couple days of loose stools which were disgusting and a weird shade of yellow, but that went away soon enough and her poops are back to normal now.She’s usually a bit of a picky eater but doesn’t mind the taste. It doesn’t seem like she notices it’s in her food at all.

Short Version: It has worked better than expected for us. No diarrhea in 6+ months. None. Notta. Zilch. Perfect poos – every.single.time! W/o a single dose of Flagyl or prednisone or endosorb, etc.!Long Version: Our beloved 15 year old fur baby has all sorts of medical issues. The veterinary specialist (whom our regular vet referred us to) suggested we add a prebiotic to his regimen, and gave us two options to chose form – we choose Nutramax because it didn’t require refrigeration.We started him on the Nutramax Proviable in June of 2025 – it’s now mid-December, and he has not had one issue w/ diarrhea in that entire time. None. In the months prior to starting Proviable, it was – forgive my (intentional) pun – a total crapshoot. :)And unlike some of his meds & supplements – where we can’t tell if they’re helping or just a complete waste of money – we know for a fact that Nutramax Proviable is working as intended. How? Because it was the very last supplement added to his list – and because the issue it was added to address – has been addressed.He still has issues – but loose stools (and the GI distress/discomfort which it comes with it) are no longer one of them. He’s happier and healthier than he’s been in a long time – and we’re beyond grateful.

My cat has IBD and although I have tried probiotics before, they never fully stopped the diarrhoea. However after finding Proviable DC my cat has been totally different. Although she is 9yrs old she now runs about like a kitten. The diarrhoea has completely gone and she looks so much healthier, her coat is lovely and soft.She has 1 capsule every day and I just break the capsule open and sprinkle it on her food. The vet asked me the other day for the name of these capsules, so that she can recommend them to someone else with a cat who has IBD.
