Excellent quality desert- feeds 4
YUM. As other have said, it doesn’t look beautiful lol, but tastes exactly like a skillet peach cobbler. I use these & MH brand meals in my remote cabin and this desert is outstanding but it’s very sweet so I only had one bite and that hit the spot. If you happen to have some heavy cream or can of whipped cream- even better. It would also be a good topper for plain oatmeal for breakfast. Big portion, great ingredients, filling, let cool after heating.

A very good outback meal for backpacking or bikepacking.
This meal was very tasty and could be used as a meal and a desert. Recommended for lunch or dinner. It was very filling and satisfying and always really a treat that was unexpected in the outdoors. Eating as a hot meal was satisifying.

Quite delicious
Delicious. A little soupy, but even that was actually quite pleasant. The hot, sweet cinnamon really hit the spot after dinner on a cold weather backpacking trip. Expensive, so I’m hesitant to get them for every trip, but I’ll probably come back for more.

Taste is good but….
Hello,I have been trying out these different freeze-dried foods with my daughter to test out what we like. This Berry cobbler tastes good…..but I would add some granola to it for texture. It’s a bit mushy looking but the taste is there… so that would be my improvement on it.By adding granola, it would also stretch it out more for 2 people. This and other brands all say 2 servings it is really a serving for 1 in my opinion. So, add granola and you can feed 2 people. Not bad for freeze dried food. It does fill you up. sort of an oatmeal with berries flavor. We liked it. Peaks foods so far are good and easy to make. I like that peak uses less water than other freeze-dried foods which in an emergency water will be scarce. I will update with photos later.

Great backpacking dessert
This was a yummy dessert for backpacking. The preparation was straightforward (just dump in water and wait) and the texture and taste were great. I didn’t notice any crunchy peaches as was mentioned by some other reviewers, although I did find it to be a little light on peaches so my sample size was small.

Way too sweet for me personally
Reviews were all over the spectrum but thought I’d give it a try.First off, the flavor is pretty good. Lots of real peaches but my only issue is that i wish the peaches were cut a bit smaller…at least in half. As they are, they are too big to absorb water all the was through. The rest gets almost over-hydrated while the peaches stay crunchy in the middle. Of course, that’s not a deal breaker for me…as a child of the 80’s, freeze dried crunchy fruit was the holy grail of school snacks so that part didn’t exactly loose points for me.This one is specifically labeled as a sweet treat…and it IS SWEET. Normally, I’m a dessert lover but this was waaaaaay over the top, even for me. Barely ate a quarter serving and I was done and very queasy. When they say cobbler, they mean it. Very rich and has quite a variety of textures even though it appears to be a bag of mush. The crunchy bits of granola were nice.Overall, it’s pretty decent but i’d honestly say, sugar-wise, it’s enough for 3-4 adults who are craving a little bit of sugar so you get more servings for the money in that case.I would not buy it again, not because it didn’t taste good, it’s just more sugar than I can handle at once – but go ahead – it’s worth a try just to see if you like it. I’d definitely try other foods from this brand though and will see what they offer
