The performance you expect in the color you love.
This is precisely what we wanted and were looking for in our dog crate. First of all – Finley loves it!One thing that impressed us, silly really, the color. We liked the blue as it was advertised, however thought it would likely be different. Not so! The Blue color we loved on the advertisement is the Color Blue it actually is and we love it!The internal self supporting frame is a superb idea and its well put together. It is so quick and easy to collapse and go and then quickly deploy.As well the side pop-out rooms and their self supporting frames also collapse and deploy quickly and easily.The soft-cover pad with the insert is very easy to clean and dries quickly – for those accidental times.The zippered front entrance screen and back window screen seem to withstand puppy teeth and claws. We do no encourage this behavior, however when it happens, the product withstands it.The large size is good as Finley is expected to reach 80 Lbs. We like the fact we can open the sides up and he can move about a little and stretch out. We have not yet introduced Finley to his expandable rooms yet – that will come later – but he is enjoying plopping in the crate and napping.Overall, this has been the right choice for us and Finley.

Cheaply made don’t waste your time will not zip correctly which makes it not work plus ours arrived damaged. The box that it came in was ok but the fabric was already ripped which wouldn’t take much effort for it to rip on its own since it was so cheaply made. I like the concept but it needs to be made by someone who can actually make something that would work and be more durable. The person who made this should be ashamed of themselves.

Mixed Feelings
The crate is spacious and has a very “open” feel for the pet due to the expandable sides. It is light weight and easy carry. However I have 2 complaints. The mesh is not very sturdy at all. Our 17 lb. dog scratched at it a few times and tore a hole in it. And secondly, the sides keep partially collapsing – the rods that are suppose to keep the sides supported are not strong enough. Luckily our rescue dog has proved to be completely trust worthy during the night and does not need to be crated anymore – so we will use the crate mostly for safety in the car.

I’m sorry for not having written this, but I absolutely love the item and am extremely happy with it! I wanted a foldable soft pet carrier with pop-up extra spaces on both sides, PLUS being wider than the conventional ones, so that my dog would be able to turn/move around easily and sleep comfortably in whichever position with his legs stretched. As such, it can serve as a regular as well as portable house, with which he is familiar. In addition, the colour options included the one I wanted: blue (it’s exactly the same as the website photo image). I am genuinely glad that this item existed. Really perfect, and I’m not exaggerating. The delivery was impressively quick, moreover.

I’m going on a 4,000 mile (round trip) road trip this summer with my cats and dog. I got this for my cats. I wanted it because the extra rooms would provide me with space to put the litter box. As you can see I have a very large cat and a kitten. They’ll have lots of room. I’ll be sending this one back as one wire in the left room is too short to keep the side wall up. But I’m not sure if I’ll request another or just ask for my money back because I’m very disappointed in the lack of a decent frame support in the main compartment and the cheap quality.Pros:-best concept!! Love that you can unfold a room for more space.-a nice canvas exterior-lots of rooms/room for my cats to move around, have a litterbox, etcCons:-it’s a glorified pop-up.-frame on the main compartment is the same thin wire as the rooms-not a solid metal frame. **Which you could have and it would still fold flat. (My dog has a crate the same size with a nice strong collapsable steal frame, but was only $50 from Target. It just doesn’t have the “rooms”-mesh is super cheap-like the cheap mesh bag you’d get at the dollar store to put soccer balls or laundry in.-My kitten was playing in it and bumped the side, the entire side collapsed on her.-needs more support all around.

Almost Perfect
We have a small dog, Pier. We bought this for him. I really liked the idea that this was so open, or closed, and portable. I have to say, I had one heck of a time putting it together. After I finally achieved it, I told my husband that this was never going to be closed up again. I loved this. Pier loved it. He had more cushy room. He could easily go in and out. Perfect? Well, we thought Pier was well past the chewing stage. Guess not. He must have gotten a little bored. He chewed through the mesh. He could have just walked through the open door. Oh well. It was almost perfect.

Was okay for about a week though it felt super cheap to begin with but it did what I got it for. Then my dog (a small soze frenchie so not a huge dog by any means!) very easily scratched holes in the mesh and the base (and her nails are trimmed short). One of the support poles broke along the top. Found something else ASAP and threw the whole thing in the trash.

Pet folding collapsible crate
I purchased this type of crate to use in the back seat of our 350 Ford Truck as full time RV travelers. The two sides expand to give our Maltese plenty of room to move around while traveling between stops. The price is inexpensive and serves an excellent purpose for lengthy trips. The quality is excellent. However, I do use ties to secure the fold outs to be more secure. The floors are padded. I recommend this crate for anyone who travels with a dog or cat.

I bought the XL crate for my two 10 pounds + cats, its huge especially when the expandable are opened. I had in mind that they would use it inside my house as their private area. The medium crate would have been enough. The XL fits easily a 40 pounds dog. Instead of returning this XL crate. I will use it outside, on my balcony in the shade area. Its very airy & spacious, my indoor cats will love it! Its well built, would cost at least 2 times more in an animal store.

I purchased one of these before Christmas to use as a carrier for my cat for a long car ride. The first time I used it, the wires popped out of the top and dug in to me. The stitching also started to rip apart at the handle so I had to ensure I help it under the bottom. I purchased a second one a month ago (hoping it was a one time issue) and the zipper broke while I was setting it up. I would not trust this product to travel with your pets.

This carrier is HUGE! Its going to be fantastic for long car trips as i will be able to fit my kittens litterbox in one side, her food/water on the other and still have lots of room for her to lounge in. The only thing I am a little disappointed with is that it looked yellow in the picture but turned out to be beige.Update 1year later:I still love this carrier. I often travel and this allows me to bring my girl with me. She is a 10lb (4.9kg) cat and She has lots of room when it is folded out to access her food/water, litter and bed. One minor issue I have found is that there is a metal piece missing that is used to keep the one side from caving in in the middle. 10/10 would still recommend.
