Best robotic litter in the market.
If you are in the maeket for a robotic litter, donot look any further. I mistakenly bought a robo litter 3 about two years back and although it works fine, it is not perfect. This Petkit Puramax is loaded with amazing features and works seamlessly and is a much better product than the robo litter. Deodorizer function is great, Some difficulty encoutered initially in ‘binding’ the Puramax witht the app but than everything went well once paired. Very silent.

Safety First!
I love this litter box. It is totally safe for your cats and controls litter odor remarkably well. Weekly maintenance is a breeze. I did a lot of research before buying it and I’m happy with my purchase. This box has amazing customizable functions and a camera that makes for interesting entertainment. My biggest concern was safety followed by odor control and availability of replacement parts. Petkit’s Purobot Max Pro checks all the boxes. It’s a winner!!

I’ve been using the 2025 Petkit Purobot self-cleaning litter box for several weeks now with two adult cats, and overall it’s been a big upgrade from a traditional box.Setup & App:Setup was straightforward and the app connected quickly. The app tracks usage, waste weight, and cleaning cycles, which is surprisingly useful for monitoring your cat’s habits. Notifications are clear and timely.Performance:The cleaning cycle is very quiet, which was important for me since the box is near a living area. Odor control is excellent when paired with clumping litter — smells are noticeably reduced compared to a standard box.Design & Safety:The safety sensors work well. The unit pauses immediately if my cat approaches or steps inside mid-cycle, which gives peace of mind. The enclosed design also helps reduce litter tracking.Cleaning & Maintenance:Emptying the waste drawer is easy and much less frequent than scooping daily. This is the best cat litter box I have ever used.
This was incredibly easy to set up and get started. I also love how much more compact it is. Loading litter is very easy and being able to use the camera to check on them is such a nice feature!!! The design is fantastic and sleek and modern. It works and tells me when its time to empty it and it has a drawstring to close the bag prior to opening it so I don’t smell anything. My cats also seem to love it! The cats are happy to use it.

Defective…. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER!!!
I paid almost $500 for this litter box an 60 days later the electronic screen has gone out an it can’t be operated anymore, I reached out twice to th company a got no response!! Avoid this seller and their faulty products an buy from a different company unless you like wasting money on defective products they won’t replace when it tears up

Awesome Auto Litter Box
I really like this one better than the Litter Robot 3….less maintenance needed…..the Litter Robot you need to continue shaking the tray because it truly isn’t full.This one I can see the weight of my cat and which cat goes in….the AI is not the best on trying to determine which cat it is, but I can easily adjust it. I just wish that I could see how full the bin is on my app…..if it does tell me, I haven’t figured it out yet.Only issue with this besides the AI pet recognition is that you can’t really set it on carpet – you have to put something solid under it for it to auto clean….it will clean on manual mode.I had bought one and this is my 2nd one, which is on non-carpeted floor and does great….I’ll be selling my Litter Robot

One month in now on this item.I was sceptical especially at this price point but with three cats and only room for one tray my nostrils had had enough so decided to buy this.Build quality – very sturdy and looks like a spaceshipInstructions – Came with great instructions – app has videos – surprisingly straightforward for something that is connected to the internet and looks like a Star Wars droid.Use – we’ve had to try different clumping cat litters. Some are too clumpy and clog the chute that the waste goes down.The app is easy to use and share with other members of the household.Smell – What smell? This is the best bit for me. My landing now smells like the rest of my house (of Dog).Noise – Never notice the noiseCat acceptance – They eyed it with suspicion at first but cats are curious and they took to it in no time. It even has per cat profiles by weight so will tell you which cat has done its business and how long they took.Cleaning – Couldn’t be easier to remove the waste and replace the bag. Really is much simpler than you’r believe.Really is a marvellous thing. It’s a lot for a cat litter tray but it really has changed things in this house. If they were cheaper I’d be gifting them to people. It may not seem like good value but the alternative is horrid smells and regularly dealing with messy traditional trays. We’ve found we use less cat litter as well.

We waited a while to review this item to give the best information.We absolutely LOVE this machine. NO it’s not perfect, but nothing is.It’s a lot bigger than we expected, even though the sizes are correct, it just feels like a massive item. Because of the round shape it took us a while to find a good place, but it’s not a bothersome view.Our kitten got used to it very quickly (on the kitten mode!) and since she’s still small we do the manual clean instead of automatic (kitten mode simply turns off the auto clean). We tested the sensors when cleaning and they do react quickly, even though our cat is “too small”, so we feel it’s very trustworthy.Filling, cleaning and maintaining is very easy. Yes it is a bit of work when you take the whole thing apart and clean it all, and yes it gets dirty after a while. But it is nothing compared to a normal cat litter box. It’s super convenient and easy to use, the app is easy and useful, plus the smell is a massive improvement.Sometimes it doesn’t clean it all out and some clutter sticks on the side, but usually it sorts itself in the next turn.We did learn that it works best with the litter & odor eliminator from the same brand and changed monthly (maybe 5-6 weeks depending on use) to keep the nice smell. (Our kitten had to get used to the litter slowly, it smells really nice and she wasn’t sure whether to eat it or use it as her toilet). The bin bags could be changed to another brand, we prefer the originals too, but others might be cheaper.We do not use the parfum addition, it’s unnecessary.We find it worth the money for sure! Even though it is a bit expensive, it’s definitely worth the convenience and improvement on smell in the house. We’re very happy with it and would definitely recommend it!

The unit initially worked great;I set it up as per the instructions, gave it the wifi and off it went.I noticed a couple of days later that there was a firmware upgrade available for the unit, so I applied it.Since then, the unit has been unreliable, unresponsive, unable to connect to the wifi and required manual intervention on a number of occasions; this has been getting worse until yesterday when the unit has failed completely;It now powers off and restarts in the middle of every cycle I give it; i.e. when it does an scoop cycle, it will get halfway through, the screen on the front of the unit turns off, it stops moving and then it restarts the cycle from scratch and this loops infinitely.I cannot connect the unit to the wifi to push any more Firmware updates, I cannot use the app to empty the litter that’s in it, so I had to do that manually to put it in storage so I could put a standard litter tray down.I am a senior IT developer, programmer and engineer type guy; I have done all the troubleshooting I can do; I have tried different Wifi, different plugs in my house, I have power cycled the unit, I have left the unit for 30 minutes to see if it sorts itself out while looping; the unit is completely unusable and frankly it looks and feels like a firmware issue. It could also be a hardware issue, but in either case I am very unhappy with the performance of the unit.I will be returning and very unlikely to purchase a Petkit unit in the future.

I’ve had this 3 weeks now and in kitten mode as I have a 6m old Ragdoll and a 3y old. She jumps in it ALL the time when it’s cleaning and it immediately stops. The litter doesn’t stick to the bottom even when there is little litter left in there. My other cat is blind and I was really worried however he’s gone on absolutely fine with it. Definitely worth the money 100%. It took about an hour to set up really easy great quality box. I’m so pleased 🎉It also tells you when the litter box is full, I find if you shake the waste box around you can keep it for a couple more days as it’s not actually full it’s just piled in the middle.The box isn’t huge however I don’t think they need more space now I’ve been using this for 3 weeks it’s perfect! I’ve had no leaking problems but my cats sit down to go to the loo.I bought this on a Black Friday deal but now I’ve got it I would pay closer to the full price for it
