overall not bad
My cat took to using it pretty immediately, although she was and still is a bit scared of the automatic cleaning when it turns on. I haven’t noticed too much odor unless its right after my cat has used the litter and before its been raked, or if the tray is reaching the end of its life and needs to be replaced soon — and that’s only if I’m standing right next to it. And keep in mind that right now I’m keeping this litter box in a small enclosed room where I sleep and work. It overall does a good job of cleaning, although if my cat has a had a more liquidy/wet poop, then that can get stuck onto the rake and leave little poop pieces in the litter that don’t get swept under the trap. Also, despite the size of the litter area not being as big as my cat’s previous litter box, she still uses it well and has no issues with it.However, one con is that I feel like there is actually quite a bit of scatter and tracking. I was using pine pellet litter before and the tracking and scatter was pretty minimal, but now I find crystal litter pieces sometimes halfway across the room and they’re really annoying to step on and requires frequent cleaning which kind of goes against the whole point of getting an automatic litter box. Moreover, since this is a litter that absorbs urine, it’s kind of gross if those crystal litter pieces get tracked and scattered around.

This sand is able to absorb urine very well and dry solid dirt, so the smell is almost unsmellable even after a few days of use. Very suitable for houses or apartments with limited space.In terms of design, this sandbox looks modern, neat, and hygienic. The surface is easy to clean and does not make the sand scatter outside. The size is quite spacious for adult cats, making the cat comfortable when used. The cleaning machine is also quite quite, so it does not make the cat stressed or afraid.The maintenance is very practical because the crystal sand tray needs to be replaced without the need to wash the sandbox thoroughly. This saves time and effort, especially for cat owners who are busy or have more than one cat (with alternating use).Overall, this product is highly recommended for cat owners who want maximum cleanliness, minimal odor, and ease of care. Although the price and cost of replacing the tray are quite premium, the quality, comfort, and cleanliness are very worth the investment. 🐱

Constantly jams, unlike older unit.
I purchased an original pet safe raking litter box in 2017 and it is still working beautifully and never jams. This one jams constantly and is not as thoughtfully constructed. Since it constantly jams, you have to unplug it and plug it back in and for some reason, they’ve moved the plug to the bottom of the unit rather than the side. Additionally, there is no option for raking after five minutes like the old version also. My biggest issue, however, is certainly the constant jamming when I’ve never had any issues with my original unit. Also buyer beware they have made it so you have to buy their brand of litter tray rather than a generic plastic/metal one like I’ve done with my original unit. I ordered the one I’ve always used and it was not compatible with this new version. Had to return that. Definitely would not recommend this anymore, which is unfortunate because I’ve told so many people about this litter box based off of the original version’s quality.

Two kittens One box
Not completely scoop free… the rake doesn’t always get everything. I have two kittens and they have been using it consistently for a week now and let’s just say the smell is still pretty strong and the place the stuff gets scooped to is not sealed very well… at least the design is chic.

I wanted a smaller mat for my cat litter box as we keep it in a small space in the house. She really enjoys scratching at it for a few seconds when she gets out of the litter box to help get all of the litter off of her feet. It does what it is supposed to do, I definitely recommend it.

Very happy with this purchase, the floor was always messy with grains when my cats came out of the litter box, this carpet is durable, my cat tried to scratch it and didn’t even make a hole in it, the carpet doesn’t slip stay’s in place, very good product, I recommend it.
