Really sturdy and reliable
had this over two years now and used it everyday with my 50+ lb puppy. Great tool, robust, never a problem even when my boy twists it round and round- still reels in and out perfectly. Great brake and easy to use.I reel him in when I think he my be getting into a situation to get wrapped around a tree or whatever. just pull to hold your dog, slide your hand forward to take of slack and brake it. repeat to get even closer.This is a very rugged leash and gives my boy lots of room to roam and sniff while not getting too far away.a

Excellent Retractable Leash
Have only been using it for a short time, but the quality seems very good. The strap is fairly wide and has not twisted like our old leash (not a TUG brand). The mechanism works well and the tension is good. The locking mechanism allows for momentary locking with just a push without having to unlock it again. And, of course, you can lock the lock. I ordered the medium for our 14 lb dog. I would probably would order the small iffI had to do it again just so it would be a little lighter. However, I would order this brand from this seller again.

Sturdy, Smooth, and Worth Every Penny!
I’m really impressed with this retractable leash! It feels incredibly sturdy in my hand, and the build quality is noticeably better than others I’ve tried. The retracting mechanism is smooth and doesn’t snag or jam, even when my dog gets excited and pulls ahead.The handle is comfortable to hold on long walks, and I love having the extra length, it gives my dog more freedom to explore while still keeping him safely under control. The lock button is easy to use and responds quickly, which makes managing sudden stops or distractions so much easier.Overall, this leash has made our daily walks more enjoyable and stress-free. Great leash but started to fray after 9 months
This leash handle is ergonomic, and the retractable feature works well and does not tangle. However, after about 9 months of use the nylon tape starts to fray on the edges and this jams the leash, preventing retraction. Unfortunately, the nylon tape cannot be replaced. The product otherwise is in good working condition, so it seems a bit of a waste to toss it out just because the tape is not long lasting.UPDATE: The seller has graciously offered a full refund. I plan to buy another TUG leash and give them another chance.

Very Durable
So far so good. The Beagle Dog likes to go in and out of round hay bales. The lead has held up well to her activity during sniff time in some very tall grasses. The 16′ gives her plenty of feet to do her thing without getting me stuck! The clasps are very durable and stay attached to her harness. I can lock it to make sure she doesn’t get too close to the cows. Great leash, well made, and lets the Beagle Dog be a Beagle. Plus it is a good price. I got the medium and it is enough for her ground game and nose drama.

High quality, best leash ever.
I waited to post a review because I wanted to give the leash plenty of time to disappoint me like all other retractable leashes I have tried. I’ve been using it for 8 months now and I can say that it’s the BEST retractable leash made. It’s smooth, doesn’t get twisted or tangled and the locking mechanism never fails!! Absolutely love this leash. It’s comfortable to hold onto also.

Simply the best I’ve ever owned
This is the longest-lasting, best made, most durable, easiest to hold and use, most secure, best looking retractable dog leash I have ever owned, by far. No other one has lasted as long and been trouble-free with no issues whatsoever. I only wish it came with a way to clip it to a belt loop or something, as it would be easier to do the poo bag stuff without having to tuck it under my arm. It would also be nice to have a poo bag holder (both for empty and full bags to somehow attach to it.

Depuis deux ans, j’utilise la laisse flexi et j’en suis pleinement satisfait. Cependant, étant donné que le modèle que je possédais était trop petit, il ne me permettait pas d’insérer l’ensemble de mes doigts en raison de l’épaisseur de mes gants d’hiver. De plus, la corde fine s’emmêlait parfois dans les pattes des autres chiens, risquant de les blesser. C’est pourquoi j’ai décidé de passer à un modèle plus grand avec une corde plus large.À l’ouverture du colis, mon impression a été très positive. La boîte contenant la laisse enrouleur ainsi qu’un mousqueton supplémentaire est élégante. La coque de la laisse respire la qualité, et sa couleur est véritablement noire, contrairement à celle de la flexi, qui, bien qu’annoncée noire, est en réalité marron foncé. Le mousqueton est pratique, et le cordon est solide. Le système permettant de bloquer ou dérouler le cordon est suffisamment spacieux pour être manipulé facilement avec des gros gants, ce qui constitue un véritable atout. Le grip du TUG assure une excellente prise contrairement au flexi qui m’a échappé plusieurs fois des mains.Bien que le poids du modèle plus grand soit légèrement plus élevé que l’équivalent en flexi, je suis extrêmement satisfait de mon achat, tant sur le plan esthétique que pratique. C’est un produit robuste, et en prime, son tarif est plus avantageux que celui de son homologue. Reste à voir comment le mécanisme résistera à une utilisation prolongée, mais cela ne semble pas être un problème étant donné la qualité de fabrication et la solidité apparente du produit.J’ai acheté ce produit en janvier, et depuis septembre, la laisse s’enroule difficilement jusqu’à aujourd’hui, où elle ne s’enroule plus du tout ! Déçu donc de cette marque qui manque cruellement de longévité. En effet, neuf mois me semble un peu court. Je vais donc m’orienter vers une autre marque.
