Automatic Obstacle Avoidance for Safe Launches RANDOM Mode
When the RANDOM indicator light is on, the launcher is in Random Mode. The ball will be launched from random three directions—left, center, or right—adding fun and challenge while boosting your dog’s reaction speed and agility.
If an obstacle or pet is detected, the launcher will try a different direction until no obstacles are detected.
Note: During the first use of the iRetriever Ball Launcher, there may be some variance in launch distance due to insufficient gear friction. After launching approximately 20-30 times, the launch distance should stabilize and meet the advertised distance.

Why doesn’t the launch distance match the advertised distance?
Our ball launcher uses rotating flywheels to launch the ball through friction. If the ball gets wet with slobber, it can affect the launch distance. We recommend checking the ball and wiping it dry before using it again for the best performance.
Why does the device only beep without launching the ball, even when there are no obstacles in front?
The sensors can detect not only people and pets but also other static objects. Indoor use may cause false triggers due to interference from furniture. For best results, ensure the launcher is used in an open area.
Can more than one ball be placed in the launcher at a time?
For optimal performance, the ball launcher is designed to hold only one ball at a time. Please ensure that there are no balls in the launcher before loading a new one.
How to Help Sensitive or Timid Dogs Get Used to the Machine Sound?
Let your dog explore the machine (powered off) with treats or toys nearby. Start with Level 1 (short distance). As your dog gets comfortable, gradually increase the level and reward with treats, gentle praise, and calm reassurance.

Great Ball Launcher—My Dog Gets All the Exercise He Needs!”
What I love:• Launches balls far & adjustable – Throws really far with three distance settings (short, medium, far) so it works great indoors or in our backyard .• Solid build & easy to use – Well-built and straightforward—just turn it on, set the distance, drop the ball, and it goes.• Keeps my dog hooked – The rotating/random launch path keeps him guessing and active .• Safety sensor is awesome – It won’t launch if he’s too close. I don’t have to worry about him getting hit.• Consistent performance – Always works smoothly, no issues so far.Bottom Line:This launcher is tough, safe, and simple. My dog gets all the exercise he needs without me having to throw constant tosses. If you want to make fetch easy and fun, this is a solid pick!

Super Fun Ball Launcher
My dog and I love outdoor playtime activities and this ball launcher is so much fun! It’s very durable, yet lightweight and cordless, which allows us to take it to the park with us. This launcher has great battery life and lasted the whole time we were at the park. I love the automatic distance detector safety feature which gave me peace of mind that it would not launch if my dog was standing in front of it. It has 4 different distance settings allowing it to launch anywhere from 10-80ft. My dog is an aggressive biter so I loved that the balls it came with were bite resistant and easy to clean. It’s not noisy when it launches so that helped my dog not be scared of it when I first introduced her to it. This is such a great machine and worth every single penny.

This automatic ball launcher has been so much fun for our dog isa, fun for us too, we love watching her enjoy it! It is a fun way to get great exercise. It is a great quality product, easy to set up, charge, use, and comes with soft durable balls. We familiarized our dog isa with the equipment, then charged it and played & played with it. isa caught on quickly as to how it works and anticipating the ball launches! We’re having lots of continued fun, and we highly recommend this product!

Well made / quality ball tosser for pups
Solid, probably best dog launcher there is. It’s pricier but won’t clog with dirt and is reliable. Also wireless and launches farther than others. Tip: put blue or yellow tape around a large bowl and train (with treats) to put ball in that first. Then put tape around edge of entrance of this. Makes training easier! Giving this rating because it’s a tad inconsistent with distance but def better than others.

Great concept, but too much hassle
Great concept, but too much hassleMy dog loves this ball launcher — when it actually works. Unfortunately, it needs constant attention to keep it running. The launch sensor frequently malfunctions and just beeps endlessly without launching the ball.It doesn’t handle dog drool well. Balls often get stuck and won’t fire unless you manually intervene. When it works, it’s awesome. But the amount of nursing it requires makes it more frustrating than fun. The nonstop beeping from a faulty sensor will drive you nuts. Not worth the effort.

Balls are life !
Syd has absolutely been living his best life with the Uahpet iRetriever Ball Launcher. He figured it out pretty quickly, and now this thing has basically turned into his favorite game of the day. I love that it keeps him active without me having to constantly throw the ball myself. The distance settings are great and safe for both inside and outside. The best part is seeing how proud he gets when he drops the ball in and waits for it to launch. It’s like he knows he’s doing something smart. If your dog loves fetch as much as Syd does, this is a fun way to keep them engaged and happy. Highly recommend for high-energy retrievers and any dog who just loves to play

A Must Have
My spouse and I really impressed with the uahpet iRetriever Automatic Ball Launcher! Our dog absolutely loves it, and it’s been a fantastic way for her to get regular exercise—especially since both of us work long hours. It gives her the physical and mental stimulation she needs even when we’re not able to be super hands-on.The launcher throws the ball incredibly smoothly, and the included balls are very durable—our dog’s a strong chewer, and they’ve held up great so far. One of the best features by far is the obstacle detection. It’s reassuring to know that it won’t launch if she’s in the way. That level of safety makes a big difference. We’re also really excited for our mother to use it. She’s disabled and has a hard time throwing a ball, but still wants to interact and play with our dog. This gives her a way to be part of the fun without the physical strain. The size is also a win! Easy to store away when the weather is rough. Overall, it’s been a game-changer for our household—easy to use, smart, and so much fun for our pup!

Not horrible but not great either
Just received it and already seeing some obstacles/issues.1. The safety sensor ends up being more of an issue than a safety optional . My dog gets impatient and triggers the sensory while waiting for the machine to wind up. I understand the reasoning but I wish you could turn the sensor off.2. The machine turn off after an hour, I was hoping for this machine to keep my dog busy while I’m at work. The one I had before had constant power when plugged in and no auto shut down. Also when it’s shuts down with a ball inside, it won’t recognize the ball when you start it up again and have to fish the ball out.3. Hit of miss with efficiency. I feel it’s a little finicky, you have to somewhat “maintain” or “babysit” the unit. The quality of the machine seems pretty solid, distance of the throw can be a little inconsistent with slobber and dirt but still decent toss. The balls are pretty high quality as well.Going to give it a week but will most likely return it.
