Great & very healthy senior dog food. Our old pomeranian loves it !!!
Our little pomeranian ill dog is almost 15 years old. I got this food for him for the first time and he absolutely loves it & wants more of it ! I am happy that he loves it as he is a picky eater regarding dry food. It seems like a great & very healthy food. He has had different brand food before which is ranked as number 1, but he has been scratching a lot and after reading over thousand of critical reviews of the product he had, I decided to order a different brand. He also had Merrick dry food which he loved & was great for him, but when I found this I was sold. I use this brand food for our lovely big kitty cat & she is very healthy on it. I didn’t know they make this food for dogs too & I was very happy to learn, they do 🙂 ! Great price too ! Same day delivery with amazon prime its incredible ! I also like very much how small peaces of this food are. Our old doggie lost a lot of teeth over the years & this is really great food for him as he doesn’t have to bite it much. Its been a short time we had it, but so far we are very happy with it, so is our small doggie.

My Dogs Love It!
I recently started noticing one of my two senior dogs wasn’t eating her food and she is super food oriented so this concerned me. She usually eats just about anything, but the food I had her on she wasn’t loving I guess. I bought a couple small bags of senior dog food and she wasn’t loving those either. The day I got this food delivered by Amazon she was all over the box and has been earring it like crazy ever since. I love the high quality ingredients and the fact that it doesn’t have chicken in it. It’s been hard trying to find a senior dog food that doesn’t have chicken as my second senior dog is allergic to chicken. I just wish it came in bigger bags because both my dogs are 45-50 lbs and this bad doesn’t last too long. The only up side to this is it’s always fresh!!

My dogs shocked me
Both of my elderly chihuahuas are missing a significant amount of their teeth. One of them, Scooby Snack, is down to mostly gums and on top of that is one of the pickiest eaters I have ever seen. He will literally starve down to being very underweight before he touches food he doesn’t like. Since he also has a very bad heart I can’t allow him to “starve” himself. I have been preparing real chicken for him, mixed in with a little of wet food so that he can get the nutrients he needs (Beneful is the only one he will eat). He is so picky that at times he even turns away from the home prepared chicken. I bought this dry dog food for my other chihuahua who has a very healthy appetite, Reina. It seemed like a good brand and I liked the ingredients and the senior focus. When I opened the bag, I was pleased to see that the food was actually in tiny pellet form and I held one out to her to try. Reina scarfed it down and started begging for more. Scooby came up and begged for some also. He sniffed it and then ate it. Then he begged for more! I put a small amount in both their bowls and they both were eating with gusto! Scooby hasn’t been able to eat dry dog food in years because of the size of other brands kibble. Most surprising is that he ate with gusto! I am still in shock. If this keeps up, then I will not use another brand.

My dog likes the food and does well on it, but the bag shipped to me had an expiration date four months previously.

Quality ingredients for seniors, save money by buying from Amazon.
This food has so many quality ingredients much better than most of it’s competitors out there for only a little bit more money per lb if you buy on amazon. This food costs more on the wysong website. I mean it has colostrum and cartilage, great for the elderly dog, which I’ve yet to see in any other dry dog food out there. It has grains, but grain free food actually adds more carb rich foods (i.e. sweet potatoes, potatoes, pea protein) to replace the grains so grain free really isn’t all that great long term, especially with older less active dogs. Drawbacks are my dogs aren’t crazy about the flavor but that’s probably bc it’s healthier food than they are used to, like us with our veggies vs if your used to processed food. Also the bags only come in 5 lbs but that’s bc food tends to oxidize in bigger bags, check the color of the food when you open the bag vs when your almost out, it definitely changes colors. I just wish Amazon did bulk deals of this brand and had deals on all the formulas, my cats need good food too but I can’t afford wysong retail prices for the small amount of food it comes in. If wysong competed with the price range per lb as other companies they would definitely win, but for now I depend on the Amazon pricing in order to keep buying wysong brand dog food.
