I confess … I am a thief … I stole a heating pad from my cat
Update 01/24 — this has been the best gift EVER for my “garage” kitty. KC (Kitty Carson) was feral and came in to live in my garage and is now a pampered garage/yard cat as he does not want to be confined in a house. I purchased 2 of the 12 inch pads for KC and one for me to use and the heating pads are perfect for his two favorite sleeping places. The are small enough to only take up one side of his houses leaving him an area to rotate on and off of the pad to temperature adjust. When he is not on the pad it is only slightly warm no matter what temperature it is set on but once he has curled onto a pad the pad warms up and he is totally comfortable even though my garage gets down to low 40s Fahrenheit. I am glad I did not get a bigger pad for his beds. Also, the heating pad I stole from him last year is still working wonders on my arthritis so both KC and I are very happy campers. (KC has 2 pads and I have one and I just bought 2 more pads as backups and for a new favorite kitty sleeping spot) ————————————————–I am guilty of stealing one of the two heating pads I purchased from my garage cat (I am buying a replacement). This has turned out to be the PERFECT heating pad for my back in my office chair. AND … my feral kitty totally loves his heating pad (he lives in a lawn chair in my garage for the Winter and I have a “nest” set up for him in the chair using one of the two pads I purchased along with an old Army wool blanket to keep his nest warm).I now realize how I need to look at pet products for heating pads, etc. You can set the timer for a more reasonable time frame than a standard “human” heating pad and you can get the temperature to a low gentle heat that doesn’t create a heat rash for the human or overheat the kitty. I made a pouch that fits the back of the plastic lawn chair with a pocket in it to hold the heating pad up against the back of the lawn chair, put a reflective insulator between the pouch and the back of the chair and the heat radiates out beautifully from the pouch into his bed so he can cuddle up to the heating pad or move away and the radiant heat will keep his nest warm and cozy.As I said before … I am a thief but I swear I am buying the replacement TODAY so I can set up a second garage kitty warming area. This heating pad is amazingly low draw on electricity so I can afford to run the heating pad pretty much all day and can even use my Yeti power station to keep it running if the power goes out. If the cat goes outside to sun or whatever, I go out and turn the pad off for an hour or so and that gives the heating pad a rest so it isn’t running 24 hours a day.

Great pad but only a 50-50 chance of working.
I normally keep my home a little cooler than most people prefer. And I suspect my little 5.6 lbs Papillon, Luna, would prefer it be a little warmer, however the long hairs of her thick fur should help to keep her warm. When I heard we had an Arctic Blast coming, I ordered two of the 24″ X 16″ Furrybaby Pet Heating Pads to place one under each of her doggie beds in the living room and bedroom. The first pad I opened worked just fine, so I put it under her bed in the living room and turned it on low. Somehow Luna quickly realized on her own that bed was being heated and began to enjoy laying in it. The second pad apparently has a loose wire in the controller. I could only get it to briefly turn on while moving it around, then it would go off while setting it down. So I’m sending it back and a replacement should arrive in a couple of days.Luna absolutely loves having the one pad that works. She enjoys going outside every couple of hours or so, even in very cold weather. Normally she would come back inside and walk around the house for a while before eventually getting into her bed. Now when she comes in from the cold, Luna immediately runs to her now heated bed and lies down. I have been amazed how quickly she learned to take advantage of this heat pad. In fact, for the very first time she didn’t want to sleep in her doggie bed in the bedroom. So I had to move the heating pad and put it under that bed and turn it on. She then willingly hopped in that heated bed and slept there. Normally she sleeps curled in a circle, but this morning I noticed she was stretched out lying on her belly. And she didn’t immediately jump out of bed like she normally does when I get up. So she seems to be very happy having a heated bed. Hopefully the second heating pad works when it arrives so I don’t have to keep moving the one that works.I would have given 5 stars had both pads worked, but I’m only giving 4 stars because now I must go to the trouble of returning one.

Small but perfect
Fits perfectly in my 3lb Shorkies bed. We love it!! Recommend for small animals!

This is great, I bought it for my small rabbit who hasn’t been the same since a big illness early on in the year. It has really made her feel better, with a bit of warmth she is more active she actually moves the blanket so she has more heat. Would recommend
