Thank heaven I trusted this dog food.
My dog was 21 years old in July. She was 2 1/2 when I rescued her from a puppy mill. I started her on halo puppy food the day I got her because she was so malnourished. I free fed her so she ate when she was hungry. She maintained a healthy weight of 9 1/2 pounds. I just lost her 2 weeks ago and I am so thankful that I started her on halo dog food. I credit them for her healthy life and they had food for all stages of life. I want to thank halo for the years I had with my dog with no health issues.

Picky maltipoo loves it. No issues with allergies.
My little 12 year old Maltese is super picky and she loves this food. She has grain allergies and has had no problems with it. She had been looking thinner than usual and rather frail. After a month on this food, she has polished off the small bag and has put on a pound and looking healthier and acting definitely happier. She has more energy. It’s bedtime so she is out for the count at the moment. All her life, she has always chosen one particular kernel in her food and would dig those out to eat and then leave the rest scattered all over the floor. This food is uniform which is so hard to find. Each kernel is the same size and color. Problem solved. Very happy with this food. I do recommend this food.

Excellent ingredient list; very small pieces
I like the ingredient list on this dog food – all natural, real, healthy ingredients. I have a golden retriever that we’ve transitioned to senior food, but comparing the ingredients, this one has a few more vitamins and minerals than the other food. My dog, after some initial sniffing, liked the food. She can be a little finicky, so that was a win.The pieces are very small. My photo shows two pieces of food atop a dime. I normally buy large breed food for my dog, so this is a bit of a change. I realize as dogs age, they may not be able to handle large pieces of dry food as they once did, but these are very small for a large dog, and I think many large dogs will forgo chewing.Made in the USA.

I purchased this when our senior dog started refusing to eat her food. And refusing to eat her joint supplement. She eats it, the meds I drop in, and licks the bowl. I purchased this brand specifically because of the included joint supplement.

Our dog’s premium brand was discontinued so we switched her ( 12 yr old 50lbcorgi/ Heeler mix) to this. She enjoys it and seems satisfied with a little less.
