My dog loves this heated dog bed.
She’s a golden retriever who likes to be outside most of the day,
but we live in a climate with cold winters (upper Midwest).
She loves to sit on this dog heating pad which we placed on an elevated mesh dog bed (the kind that looks like a small rectangular trampoline).
The pet heating bed keeps her off the cold floor and the dog heating pad keeps her warm.
She likes the high setting and one paw over her nose.
We use this heated dog bed inside the garage in winter cold temperatures,
In the fall, we keep the pet heating pad and heated dog bed outside where she likes to watch for squirrels and greet the mail man.

I’ve had a feral cat living outside for a year now.
She’s better than she was but I still can’t pet her.
I have a Dogloo that I pushed against the fence so she’d feel safe from the coyotes
but it’s still cold outside! I bought this heating pad for her for Christmas.
She was very suspicious but I put her blanket on top of it and
now she hardly ever leaves her toasty abode!

The dog bed warms to a good temperature. Not too hot, but warm enough for cold weather.
This thing works! it is warm, but not so warm it runs the dog out. My situation is unique. I have a very old rescue lab that absolutely will not come in the house. He was confined and isolated for over two years before we go him, and once we let him out in the yard, he never leaves it and never comes in the house. Some wounds never heal. If you close a door on him, he goes into a panic. Taking him to the vet is an ordeal as hard on him as it is me. My vet sees him outside, thank goodness. I was beside myself on what to do this winter. He has a doghouse on the porch, but the temperatures dip often close to zero F here in the Blue Ridge mountains. At 15, my old half-wild friend cannot survive another winter depending on his own heavy coat, hardiness, and the doghouse. But the stress on him bringing him inside is just as bad. Now he has what he truly deserves; A heated doghouse… With no door. He is enjoying every minute of it.

It came in record time and surprised at how large it was Could fit a large dog or 4 medium cats. It heated up right away. Although it did have a temperature control after 10 minutes you were advised to turn to low. If it is used outside, would not be warm enough for temperature at below 20 degree. It is not soft but would be easy to clean…just wipe it off. Keeping it. The low setting would be fine for cool weather.

Mine came as said it would. I wanted to use mine for my outside dog house as description said on what the seller what selling. The description also said that I could change the temperature up and down as degrees wise. This Has a whole different panel than shown and there’s only one switch either low or high. Directions say leave it on for ten minutes as I did and then turn to low which I did. I said let me try this as it is. I felt barely any heat. I used an extension cord to meet where my dog lays when he’s outside. I was told by an ex electrician saying try it without the extension cord and use it in the house but that’s not why I bought this. Mine was malfunction and I feel lied to as to what I bought.

Big dog likes this heating pad
Our big dog (125 lbs) likes this heating pad. She hops right onto it.. snoozing on it daily. Even if it gets bent, folded or scrunched a little, it flattens out just fine & works great. At first I wasn’t sure about the cover material, I thought it might be too slick. It’s not too slick.. it is sturdy, plus her hair doesn’t get all woven into it. Easy to operate..2 temps (low & high) & off on a slide mechanism. We usually operate it on the low setting which is warm enough for our dog. Much better item than I thought it was going to be.EDIT: Sorry to say this dog pad stopped working after about 4 months.

The bed keeps her off the cold floor and the heating pad keeps her warm. She likes the high setting and one paw over her nose. We use it inside the garage in winter cold temperatures, with a dog door to access the outdoors. In the fall, we keep the pad and bed outside where she likes to watch for squirrels and greet the mail man.This is thin (maybe a half inch to an inch thick) but sturdy and is designed to sit on top of another dog bed (it doesn’t provide a lot of cushion). The pattern is black roses on grey background with black binding around the edges, kind of abstract, doesn’t scream floral print, looks pretty neutral. Has chew resistant cord covering. And several heat settings. Instructions say high setting is for warming the pad up, and it should be used at medium setting for long periods, but my dog likes high. I have sat on it for awhile to make sure it’s not too hot at that setting, and it definitely feels cooler than my car’s heated seats. The high setting on this pad feels like the low setting on a car’s heated seats. Definitely not uncomfortably warm even after sitting on it for a long time. Manufacturer says not to use in confined space like a crate where dog can’t move off it if they do get too hot, which is common sense.Just what I was looking for. Happy to have found a nice sized, sturdy heated pad.

I was a rookie and read XXL and thought it would be big enough for our dane.. it’s about 1.5 feet x 2.5 feet. Not quite her size, but she makes it work. Quality is good and works, just a little misleading claiming XXL – but that’s on me for not actually reading the dimensions.
