My step dog made me write this review but she won’t like my input
My dog, Sissy, was extremely happy this darling and practical raincoat was way too small for her because she is a total prima donna. Despite demanding walkies every night, she won’t go in the rain. She’s a slender, mid-sized, 38# rescue, with a HUGE chest, tiny waist, long legs (like a Playboy pinup) so this Large/Medium raincoat went to my step-dog, PepperHat (I know—right?) who’s built like me, short and rectangular, and this product fits her perfectly. PepperHat is a 28# terrier/mutt and SHE loves it. It’s really EASY to put on with just ONE strap, and the clear visor on the hood allows her to see. It’s freaking adorable and durable, but runs really small.

Great quality rain coat
I should’ve bought this a long time ago for my dog who hates to walk in the rain. I got a size Small for an almost 9lb yorkie mix. The plastic on the hood is a little crumpled but maybe it needs time to relax from being shipped. It was pulled back too far and didn’t cover her head when I had the leg straps on, but maybe I need to adjust them for a better fit. Works well and she didn’t fuss wearing it. Material feels nice, good thickness and is waterproof. It covers her whole body but isn’t in the way when she does her business. Wish it had a little loop to hang from, and also the flap covering the hole is a bit too large. If you walk ahead of the dog it flips up and looks weird. I think it is some sort of pouch to store it, but considering how bent out of shape the hood can get, I don’t think I will use it. The plastic on the hood is very clear to see through.

Waterproof, great value for money; doesn’t cover tummy
Jojo doesn’t love it, but he doesn’t hate it! He’s 60lbs and measured 26″ from collar to start of tail (he’s quite long but not that tall) and the 2XL fits great except for the hood. But he hates the hood anyways, he needs to move his ears! So the hood is a good neck cover.We’ve used this a few times in the past month, notably for 20min through steady rain and came out 100% dry under the jacket, although the top of his harness got a little damp (it’s slightly open to the elements through the leash access point, so on a windy walk some water could get in). Easy to put on and off, the elastic around the back legs is SUPER stretchy so we don’t need to loosen to put it on and it keeps the raincoat in place. Lots of space around the tummy to accommodate a rounder dog but not sure this size would work well for broader shoulders. Overall seems like great value for the money – although would love some real tummy coverage since this “low rider” gets soggy after jogging through puddles.

The visor is a hazard around their eyes
It fits Jonny Cash in the length perfectly. Im glad I didn’t order XL. The only thing that sucks is the visor on it. The length it comes down across and around his face is literally eyeball level. The visor would poke him in the eyes so I can’t use the hood. Its like the head size is no where near being a large. The large needs to have the XL size in the hat. I haven’t tested it in the rain yet. I will update once I do. I also thought it came with the blue bag, but i guess it doesn’t.

Cute and functional if your dog will wear it (mine won’t)
My dog absolutely hates it. If she would keep it on though, it would be perfect. It’s easy enough to put on. I probably could have gotten a large instead of a medium (my girl is about 50lbs). It feels sturdy enough to last and the material is definitely waterproof.

Sizing is tricky…
Oh my goodness, we bought this for our Golden Doodle 😂 She wasn’t having it… Mostly and first the size is completely off! She’s 50 lbs. It was XL, It was way to tight on her belly, we adjusted it and it popped off, didn’t and couldn’t make it right 🤐 we struggled to get it to fit… It only would fit low on her tummy and not near her Chest where it needed to be for the head cover to fit! We tried to pull it up to her head it was sooo tight and the Velcro pulled apart since it was barely attached due to being to small 🤭 it was pull and push just for the photo. Poor Bella 💖 after pulling it up to her Head it popped off her tummy, got a quick picture, pop goes the Weasel, she was relieved 😌 just for fun ☺️ we tried it on our Rottweiler to see what size he’d need 😂 hung his head in shame and then jumped up on the couch after we said we’re sorry 😐 he can get wet he shakes the water off, but our poor Doodle is a wet rag mop 🫠 bummer!
