Lasted 5 months …. leash part fold making it unusable
Lasted exactly 5 months and then the ribbon/leash folded up inside the case and would not work. Seems others have the same issue. Was good while it lasted. I will buy a different one and hope it lasts more than 5 months.

Strong and flexible
I’ve tried a lot of retractable leashes and this one was definitely the winner ! Its well made, very strong leash and is very flexible. Safety is my number one concern and this is the safest by far.

The leash is too narrow
It works fine so far, but the leash itself isn’t very wide and does not look very heavy duty. My dog is about 60lbs and I don’t think it could sustain her daily pulls. My last one was wider than this one and it broke under 1 month.

Very cheaply made
I wish I could give 0stars. Very poor quality and cheaply made. The ribbon was very thin and kept getting tangled and caught up in side the handle.

I got this Makife Retractable Dog Leash in pink for my cat, Princess, and it has been great for our walks. Even though it’s designed for small dogs, it works perfectly for her. The leash is lightweight and very comfortable to hold, with a non-slip handle that feels secure in my hand. I love that it gives Princess plenty of room to explore with its 16ft length, but still keeps her safe and close enough when needed. The retractable feature works smoothly, and the lead itself is sturdier than the usual fine rope-style ones, which gives me peace of mind.Overall, it’s a fantastic leash for both cats and small dogs, with a durable design and good length for outdoor adventures. Highly recommend!

Excellent Quality long lead has a quick touch easy two button lock and release, Comfortable handle, the lead has a good length to allow freedom for the dog doubling as an aid for recall training, the lead is strong enough for a small to small/medium dog. I highly recommend.

Really don’t like this new lead. It is too plastic, too noisy and the lead has already twisted and I’ve only used it twice.Sadly I’m disappointed and will not be using this lead again.Can I also add I have a very small dog who only walks on lead so I know the problems with this product is the cheapness of this lead.
