Perfect leash!!
This leash is everything I needed! A city dog’s dream! The retractability works very smoothly, it’s very durable, and you’ll never forget a poo bag again! The length is perfect for my dog to be able to run around while still being on leash at the park. I will say, the brake function does make a noise that startled my dog the first few times but eventually she learned the sound meant to slow down/ heel. Also after you hit the brake it won’t extend again until the leash relaxes, which actually helped train my dog to not pull on the leash. Overall very impressed with this!

Leash Would Not Extend Out after Limited Use (Updated)
One week after the return window closed the dog leash kept getting stuck in the closed (2 ft) position and am unable to extend it out the full 26 feet. I put slack into the leash which is supposed to relax it and allow the leash to extend out but no luck. One time it did extend out when I banged on the body of the unit. So basically, it is useless.Update: Was contacted by the seller. Because they stand behind their product they quickly sent up another leash to us. So far so good. The replacement leash is working great.We really like this leash compared to other leashes. We have used. Our dog will tend to bite the end of a leash and this leash includes a short extension that protects the actual leash material.

The best I’ve owned — nearly perfect
I can’t tell you how many retractable leashes I had to try and return before arriving on this one. They all had issues with jamming up, locking mechanism breaking or getting stripped, poor handle design, etc. I had to knock off a star due to the poorly designed and weakish light (see CONS below), but its function is a leash, first and foremost, and on that it gets 5 stars all the way.After two solid weeks of use:PROS* Leash extends and retracts SUPER SMOOTHLY. Like buttah* Zero issues with tangling, jamming.* Locking mechanism feels very natural and has not hiccuped or slipped even once.* Handle is very generously designed for large hands. Not sure if that would be an issue for smaller hands. Some of these inferior leashes seem to be made for Barbie doll hands.CONS:* Light is not the brightest, but it’s not a deal-breaker.* Odd design choice, where the leash extends directly in front of the light, making the light even less useful.* No built-in slot for a bag dispenser, but there’s ample room on the handle to zip-tie your dispenser of choice.

This “retractable?” leash is junk. The retracting mechanism in it is questionable,,,,sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t almost got my dog ran over because it failed to retract. Does not retract corretly, hangs up, and the locking mechanism sticks. It should be taken off the market. Don’t buy it. It’s a total waste of money.

Alright leash but locking mechanism doesn’t work reliably.
Seems sturdy enough for a smallish dog but lock gets stuck often and doesn’t fully engage unless the leash is pulled while pressing the lock. Can sometimes lock if pressed down with a lot of force. Leash is a little too large for a comfortable hold. Length is good for smaller dogs but I can see larger dogs might not be a good idea.Hopefully, it will still be useful because this is only on the first day of use.

Still working well after several months
This leash is surprisingly durable! I got 2 leashes for walking my kids’ crackhead lab puppies. I’ve had it for a couple months now. The retractor is still working well and the leash didn’t fall apart yet, after much yanking (the dogs are not leash trained and pull hard). While the dogs ruined everything else in my house, this leash is still working.

New Review- I am updating it to gove 5 stars to the customer service. They sent the new leash after the old one broke in 2 months. I am hoping that new leash will last longer.Old review- It didn’t even last 2 months, about to detach from the hook(see pic). Not recommended. The product arrived late and now didn’t even last. It is definitely not for large dogs

Lasted 2 days the one prior lasted longer really like it at the beginning of the walk by the end I had lost the poop bag dispenser twice I walk the same route and found it went to return couldn’t find it… Amazon worked with me on not having that because it was a flaw in the device… waiting for my refund

i like the cbale thaht come with the leash , the only downside of this is the actual handle which is not comfy
Hat arrive and beak is not centred . Close to 1/2 inch more on one side. Not happy with purchase for the price that was paid. –
