I have two house cats, a mother and son. Two feral cats show up on our back deck, a mother and her daughter so we decided to order a heated cat house for them, hoping one day we could bring the in. When I ordered the cat house I ordered it without the heating pad by mistake so this is why I’m sharing this.

Purrfect fit for the Amazon basics wheeled catio!!!
Was worried about our kittens getting cold as the seasons change and nights get cooler. This cat mat solves that problem.The length and width of it is almost a perfect fit for our catio, which I believe (bought mine second hand, but it looks exactly the same) is the Amazon basics 3 tier cat cage, https://a.co/d/7xVXScq. The heating pad is just a little longer than the shelf is deep, which is fine. A little excess that rolls up doesn’t affect the mat’s usefulness.I run the cord through one of the openings in the cage and plug it into a nearby outlet. Our cage is out of the way, so no one trips on it. And the thickness of the mat’s cord keeps kitten (and cat) teeth from cutting through it. Ask me how I know. One of our kittens insists on testing one of her 9 lives by biting on every wire and cord in our house. And so far, she still lives to meow the story.There’s a velveteen cover to protect the mat and make it more comfy for the kittens. And it’s zippered so it can be removed for washing, thankfully, as our kittens track so much paper litter everywhere.It’s purrfect!

Do not buy this scam product.It does not work whatsoever. Whenever I press the power button, all of the lights flash and that is it. It does absolutely nothing. It produces no heat and simply does not function at all. Horrible quality.

Used as a replacement heating pad for an outdoor kitty shelter — and it’s perfect! Thank you Texsens for creating a quality product I can use to shelter a young feral mommy whose kittens were just removed for fostering and adoption. I got this for my front mud room for my cats, which is the area I hang out most in with them, it’s mostly all windows and screens, so they love it. I’ve been using this for a few days now, I love the size of pad, both of my cats can fit on it and there’s still room. I put it on their window perch and it fits perfectly. I love that you can take off the cover to clean, and I love that the pad itself is easily wiped, non-porous.I have to hand it to the creators of this product, they definitely aimed for this to be cat and pet proof, look at the size of the chord, it’s huge, metal and very very strong, my cats love chewing chords, and this has stumped both of them to the point that they aren’t interested in the chord.I also love the functionality of it, it doesn’t get too hot. It’s warm to touch, but not hot. No smell to the pad when it’s on either, and I follow the instructions when it says unplug when not using. I do wish it had an on off switch, so you could leave it unplugged, but in reality, the length of the chord isn’t that long anyways, it would only be an extra reach to unplug vs a switch.In the first picture, you’ll see Dobby, she has never sprawled out on the cat porch like this before, she’s in pure bliss. Second pic is little Pip. I wish I would’ve been fast enough with the camera to grab a picture when they were both on it, I’ll update if I do lol.Definitely would recommend this product, my cats aren’t leaving the pad out on the mud room anymore. I think my oldest has arthritis, this is probably making her feel really good
