I love these. My dog is so anxious all the time. She’s scared of loud noises and is just on edge with different sounds. I got these and she seems to be more relaxed. There’s no overwhelming smell for me but she can smell it. They’re so easy to use! Every dog owner needs these.

Easy to use diffuser
I bought this diffuser for my dog after he had surgery and seemed anxious most of the time. He would pace around and bark at every small sound, so I wanted something that might help him settle down. The setup was simple just plug in and let it do its thing. It came with a refill bottle that lasts quite a while, even when it’s on all day in the living room. There’s no heavy scent. Now my dog resting a bit more in his usual spot and not jumping at every noise. The bottle still has plenty left. I just wish the effect was a little stronger for dogs that get easily stressed, but for light anxiety, it’s a easy option to try.

I THINK they are actually working?
I can’t tell if this is working or not. It does seem to possibly work a little bit – I have one dog who I’ve not been able to spay yet, and she’s in heat and highly hormonal, which is why I bought the pheromone diffuser. It does seem to maybe have calmed her down a little bit – but not completely.If I’m in the room, the two dogs seem to be happy and harmonious, whereas before, they were fighting and trying to establish order of dominance, since they had just met. Now they are settling into a routine and my original dog knows that the new dog is not a threat to my love for the original. Or at least I hope she does – she seems to be getting the message.So maybe they actually really do work, and the change in behavior is partly because of the pheromones. And also, I have a 4.6 pound Chihuahua who goes on pee pads. The pheromones are plugged in right at the pee pad site, and she has gotten much better at peeing on the pee pads and not in other very inconvenient places. So that may be another sign that they are working. At any rate, I figure they can’t hurt.

Eesy to keep in use
I bought this diffuser because my little dog has been on edge ever since his last vet procedure. I liked that it came ready to use, no refills or complicated setup, just plug it in and leave it near where your dog relaxes. I set it up beside the sofa where he usually naps. Now after few weeks, fewer pacing moments and less barking when neighbors walk by. The build quality is sturdy and it doesn’t release any weird odor that might bother pets or people. My only small complaint is that it takes a bit of time to see some gradual calm. For something this easy to use and non-intrusive, I would keeping around and I will continue using it to see if it helps more as he settles back into his normal routine.
